Revenue sharing will more than likely begin in 2025
In a giant result coming down from the NCAA today, all power conferences as well as the NCAA have agreed to allow universities to pay players directly for the first time in NCAA history.
According to ESPN’s Pete Thamel and Dan Murphy, the NCAA is planning on settling three massive federal antitrust cases resulting in a payout of $2.7 billion in damages over the course of ten years to current and former athletes.

By now, we’ve heard from, well, pretty much any and all media types, including yours truly, about Harrison Butker and his lightning rod of a commencement speech at Benedictine College earlier this month.
What I hadn’t heard was anyone straight up telling Butker, the kicker for the Kansas City Chiefs, to go f*** himself.
And then some podcast that I’ve never heard of dropped.
“Go f*** yourself, Harrison Butker!”
Um, what? For real?

The Chicago Cubs and their fans are apparently still salty about something that happened late last season against the Atlanta Braves.
With the Cubs desperately trying to claw their way into the postseason, they played a three-game series against the Braves in Atlanta. It was the penultimate series of the season for both teams. 
The Braves had already clinched the NL East and weren’t playing for much on the night of Sept. 27. However, their best player – Ronald Acuna, Jr. – was chasing history.

According to Mayor Quinton Lucas, the unnamed person who posted Butker’s home city on K.C.’s official social channels has been ‘separated’ from the role following backlash over the reckless post.
