McLaren driver Oscar Piastri qualified second at Imola, but teammate Lando Norris will start next to Max Verstappen
Oscar Piastri delivered a sublime performance Saturday during qualifying for the Formula 1 Emilia Romagna Grand Prix, crossing the line second behind only pole-sitter Max Verstappen. The impressive effort from the McLaren driver set him up to start alongside Verstappen in Sunday’s race, and with teammate Lando Norris behind him in third, it has the team set up for a tremendous result in Imola.

If you’re expecting a U.S. government agency to handle anything quickly and efficiently, you’re going to be disappointed. And Seattle Storm rookie Nika Mühl is finding that out the hard way.
Mühl was the 14th overall pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft. But two games into the regular season, the former UConn Husky has yet to make her pro debut. That’s because the native Croatian can’t legally work in the States until the government approves her new visa.
The 23-year-old competed for the Storm during their home preseason game against the Phoenix Mercury.

Week 3 of Touch ‘Em All is here!
Do you ever watch the baseball news cycle and just get utterly confused or shocked by something that happens? Like, how in the world did Shohei Ohtani convince the Los Angeles Dodgers that it would be a great idea to pay him $68 million a year – after he’s done playing for them?
Or how can Cincinnati Reds phenom Elly De La Cruz single-handedly have more stolen bases (30) at this point in the season than 18 teams? How can teams put such little priority on stealing bases, and how is De La Cruz that fast?

Woods and Rahm were just the start of the massive names who missed the cut at the PGA Championship and headed home early.
Some massive PGA Tour and LIV Golf names are heading home early after missing the cut at the 2024 PGA Championship.
The cut line was 1-under at Valhalla as the second round concluded late Saturday morning after an extended fog delay pushed back things.
Four-time PGA Championship winner Tiger Woods and two-time major champ Jon Rahm were two of the biggest names to miss the cut.
Woods had a terrible start to his round on Friday.

The PGA Championship released updated round 3 tee times after a fog delay pushed back the start time for moving day.
Another delay occurred at Valhalla on Saturday morning for the 2024 PGA Championship. Fog rolled in and stayed for most of the morning, prolonging the end of the second round.
Round 3 of the PGA Championship roughly began at 11:28 a.m.
Typically, there would be groups of two for the weekend at a major championship, but not this week.

The field threw everything they had at him but Max Verstappen thundered to pole yet again, making F1 history in the process
In a week that saw the Formula 1 world pause to honor two legends at the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix, it seems fitting that Saturday’s qualifying session was captured by one of the sport’s latest legends.
Max Verstappen.

Kansas City Chiefs offensive tackles Wanya Morris and Chukwuebuka Godrick were arrested Thursday night for marijuana possession. The two players were booked in a Johnson County, Kansas, jail before posting a $2,500 bond. Both Morris and Chukwuebuka pleaded not guilty and have a scheduled court date for May 23rd.
Morris was a third round draft pick from Oklahoma and is in contention to be the starting left tackle for the team this upcoming season. Godrick was signed last year via the NFL’s International Player Pathway.
The Chiefs are aware of the situation.

Fans finally got their first look at the upcoming “College Football 25” — the reboot of EA Sports’ beloved video game series which last released in 2013 — on Friday. But Clemson offensive lineman Walker Parks wasn’t as excited as everyone else was.
That’s because EA Sports did him dirty! The video game version of Parks looks, well …really fat.
Taking to social media, Parks called out the game developer: “Come on man I ain’t that big.”
Parks enters 2024 having played 2,107 career snaps over 39 games (28 starts).
