There’s no question that the NFL has become the most popular sport in America. And it’s not remotely close.
NFL games are frequently among the most watched shows of the year, with Sunday Night Football the highest rated television program in the country during the 2022/2023 season.
Thursday Night Football and Monday Night Football also were in the top six shows, unsurprisingly. And then, of course, there’s the Super Bowl. Nothing can come close to the Super Bowl when it comes to ratings, fan interest and status.

Everyone’s losing their minds in Cleveland now that the Cavaliers are out of the playoffs, with seemingly no hope for the future in the weak Eastern Conference.
Part of the concern revolves around Cavs All-Star Donovan Mitchell, a popular player suspected of switching teams this offseason.
One of the rumors surrounding a Mitchel exodus from Cleveland suggests that the star player grew frustrated with his teammates and wants out for that very reason.
Mitchell took time out of his Thursday to dispel those rumors, calling out reporters for spreading misinformation (according to Mitchell).

The first round of the 2024 PGA Championship produced plenty of drama, so here are the winners and losers after day one.
Xander Schauffele set multiple records during the first round of the PGA Championship, as he holds a commanding three-shot lead over Tony Finau and Sahith Theegala through 18 holes.
A group of six players, including Rory McIlroy, Collin Morikawa, Tom Kim, and Robert MacIntyre, lurks four shots behind Schauffele.

The Indy 500 is just over two weeks away. The Indiana Pacers host game six of their Eastern Conference semifinals against the New York Knicks in the NBA Playoffs Friday at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, trailing 3-2.
And tonight, the Indiana Fever and rookie Caitlin Clark, the top scorer in NCAA men’s and women’s basketball history, play their WNBA regular season home debut against New York Liberty in front of what is expected to be a near capacity crowd of 18,000 at Gainbridge (7 p.m., Amazon Prime, WTHR Channel 13 in Indianapolis).

Koepka forced himself to be patient at previous PGA Championships, and that strategy will not change at Valhalla.
Reigning PGA Championship winner Brooks Koepka turned in a solid performance at Valhalla on day one. He carded a 4-under 67 to sit five shots off the leader Xander Schauffele.
Koepka had to fight for strokes on the course. Things eventually paid off for him when he made an eagle and birdie on the par-5 7th and par-3 8th.
