A man has been shot by police in a Hamburg area packed with football supporters ahead of Poland’s Euro 2024 game with the Netherlands following an attack on an officer with an axe, according to the town’s police force.

Last month, Austin Rivers claimed that 30 NBA players could immediately play in the NFL, but not the other way around. Seattle Seahawks wide receiver D.K. Metcalf might beg to differ.
“I can take 30 players right now from the NBA and throw them in the NFL,” Rivers said in early May. “You cannot take 30 NFL players and put them in the NBA.”
Well, if there were any NFL players who might be able to make the switch, Metcalf would have to be near the top of that list. From a size perspective, Metcalf fits the bill, standing at 6’4″.

After a long delay, Florida came up inches short against Texas A&M
Cade Kurland thought he had done it.
After a delay of over four hours due to severe weather in the Omaha area, the final game of the opening round of the 2024 Men’s College World Series between Florida and Texas A&M finally got underway after 11:00 p.m. local time. The Aggies took a 3-2 lead into the top of the ninth inning, powered by a pair of runs in the second inning and one more in the third as they built a 3-0 lead.
But the Gators did not go quietly into the night.

Don’t ever accuse A’ja Wilson of not caring about winning WNBA games! The Las Vegas Aces star cried during her postgame conference after the team lost to the New York Liberty on Saturday.
The Aces are the back-to-back defending WNBA champions, but they are struggling this season. Their 90-82 loss against the Liberty dropped them to 6-6 on the season; they only lost seven games last year for the entire season (including playoffs).
Apparently, this loss really affected Wilson.

Bryson DeChambeau leads the U.S. Open after three rounds and is just one solid round of golf from capturing his second U.S. Open championship.
Playing at Pinehurst No. 2, most of the best players in the world are struggling to make birdies on some of the toughest greens in the world.
Not DeChambeau, though, who made six birdies on Saturday to shoot the second-best round of the day (67).
Part of the reason might just be the seemingly bizarre process that DeChambeau puts his golf balls through.

The College World Series nightcap got off to a late start on Saturday night in Omaha thanks to a weather delay. Having to sit around and wait for the game to start, it looked as though at least two Texas A&M fans probably had a bit too much time to put down a few beverages.
Following the 10:15 pm CT first-pitch, it didn’t take long for tensions to boil over, but not where you would most likely think during the late game.
As Texas A&M led 1-0 in the second inning, there was a reported argument being had just outside the Florida dugout.

DeChambeau continues to prove why he is such a good figure in golf as he holds a three-shot ahead of the final U.S. Open round.

It’s Championship Sunday at the 124th U.S. Open.
Bryson DeChambeau leads by three shots ahead of the final 18 holes. His 3-under 67 was impressive to watch on Saturday.
