There’s no love lost between these AFC East teams.
Before Aaron Rodgers started cooking on offense during Thursday Night Football, Jets fans held a tailgate bonfire, fueled by Patriots jerseys.
Outside MetLife Stadium, ahead of the clash between NY and New England, Gang Green broke out into their signature J-E-T-S chant as a massive fire burned.
These fans are out for blood … or a win against their longtime AFC East rival.
That’s real fandom.
The jersey burning at the stake was No.

The Connecticut Sun host the Indiana Fever, the Las Vegas Aces host the Seattle Storm, and two other first-round matchups are set.
The WNBA playoffs are here, and first-round match-ups are set, with play beginning on Sunday, September 22nd.
The first round is a best-of-three series, with the higher-seeded team hosting the first two games, and the lower-seeded time hosting the deciding Game 3, if necessary.

UNCASVILLE, CT – Talk about an interesting twist of fate. Indiana Fever rookie Caitlin Clark made her WNBA regular season debut four months ago in Uncasville at Mohegan Sun Arena against the Connecticut Sun.
Clark has come a long way since that loss, at least metaphorically. Literally and physically, she hasn’t gone anywhere, since the Fever will play at Mohegan Sun Arena on Sunday against the Sun to start their WNBA postseason run.
That became official when the Sun defeated the Chicago Sky on Thursday night to lock up the No. 3 seed in the postseason.

Ouch! Houston Texans tight end Brevin Jordan will have to miss the rest of the NFL season after tearing his ACL.
Jordan wasn’t aware of his season-ending injury until after Sunday’s primetime matchup against the Chicago Bears, having played through the game with a torn ligament.
According to his post on X, Jordan — a 2021 fifth-round pick for the Texans — learned of his injury the day after Houston’s 19-13 win over Chicago.
Jordan is grateful he was able to play his final game of the season without interruption, even though he was unaware of when he got injured.

Shohei Ohtani made history on Thursday night, becoming the first player ever in Major League Baseball to hit 50 home runs and steal 50 bases. And he did it in the most Shohei Ohtani fashion imaginable. Arguably the best individual game in the history of baseball.
With the Los Angeles Dodgers in the midst of a hard fought race at the top of the National League West, every game feels like a must-win. Especially against overmatched teams like the Miami Marlins. Ohtani made sure the outcome would never be in doubt.
