Carolina Panthers tight end Tommy Tremble fought for extra yards against a Chicago Bears safety and had his lights knocked out with a vicious hit.
Tremble caught a pass from Andy Dalton in the first half, gaining 9 yards but pushing for a breakaway play.
Dropping his shoulder as an oncoming Jaquan Brisker charged at him, Tremble took a big hit from the Bears player and almost immediately went limp.
Carolina’s staff evaluated Tremble after the player lost consciousness. The team soon ruled him out, checking Tremble for a concussion.

Jordan Love threw the worst NFL interception of the week by trying to do way too much
The Green Bay Packers were supposed to struggle badly without quarterback Jordan Love when he suffered a knee injury at the end of the season opener. Instead, with Malik Willis filling in, Green Bay remade itself as a power running team, and somehow won both of the backup’s starts. Love returned last week against the Minnesota Vikings, and looked like a total rollercoaster (four touchdowns, three interceptions) in a close Packers loss.

Poor Will Levis. His Tennessee Titans aren’t even playing this week, and he’s out here catching strays. But Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love threw a terrible pick-6 against the Los Angeles Rams, and it looked a lot like what we’ve seen from Levis this season.
With the Packers backed up near their own goal line, the Rams pass rush got pressure on Love and knocked him off balance inside his own end zone. Rather than take the safety, Love elected to just fling the ball forward.

It ended with Deshaun Watson on the bench. He seemed defeated and perhaps finally unmasked as the guy who isn’t now and perhaps never will be the man to return the Cleveland Browns to greatness.
This day was perhaps the roughest Watson has had during his three seasons with the Browns.
That, by the way, is saying a lot because he’s had some really awful days both on and off the field in recent years despite his fully guaranteed $230 million contract.
That’s because this was the day it looked as if Watson quit during a key moment in thea 34-13 loss to Washington.

Picture this: you’re a 6’4″, 324-pound man who was caught on live camera shoving a woman to the ground, and hundreds of thousands of people on social media and in person have seen you do it. How do you respond?
If you’re Omari Thomas, a defensive lineman for the Tennessee Volunteers, you choose to shirk as much responsibility for your actions as possible.
Here’s a little context: Thomas and No. 4 Tennessee lost a shocker to the Arkansas Razorbacks by a score of 19-14 last night. Because Arkansas was the home team, many of the fans rushed the field to celebrate.

The Giants were less than a yard from the end zone, but the Seahawks had other ideas
Entering Week 5 of the 2024 NFL season with a 1-3 record, the New York Giants wanted to get out to a quick start on the road against the Seattle Seahawks. That is why at the end of their opening possession facing 4th and 1 inside the Seattle one-yard line, Brian Daboll left his offense on the field. It would be the 16th play of a long drive that took over ten minutes off the clock.
A touchdown was scored on the next play, but not the one Daboll was hoping for.

It’s time to gut the Giants roster and completely reboot the franchise.
The Seahawks just destroyed morale inside the New York Giants organization with one of the most humiliating (and most ‘Giants’) sequences ever witnessed on an NFL field.
After a seven-plus minute drive to open up the game, the Giants found themselves at the goal line, ready to score to strike first against Seattle.
Giants backup running back Eric Gray, with starter Devin Singletary out with a groin injury, went for a third-down rush and was stuffed at the goal line.

The 17th hole at St. Andrews, better known as the Road Hole, is among the most iconic golf holes on the planet. You have the Old Course Hotel very much in play from the tee on the right plus the stone wall running along the right side of the fairway before arriving to a skinny green where any player can get into serious trouble.
On top of being among the most recognizable holes in the sport and the setting of plenty of magical moments in Open Championship history, it’s also an incredibly difficult hole.
