If you’ve never been to a Morgan Wallen concert, the beginning of his shows are can’t miss. In the case of his show in Neyland Stadium on Sunday night, former Tennessee quarterback Peyton Manning decided to wear his former uniform one more time for the occasion.
In one of the craziest moments of this tour, and probably Neyland Stadium history, Peyton Manning, Josh Heupel, Nico Iamaleava and Bru McCoy all accompanied Morgan Wallen to the stage.

New Orleans Saints‘ defensive end Payton Turner is denying claims that he spat on DeVonta Smith as the Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver lied injured on the field.
During the fourth quarter of Sunday afternoon’s game in New Orleans, Smith took a big hit from Saints defensive tackle Khristian Boyd that knocked him unconscious. As the wideout was lying motionless on the ground with his helmet off, cameras caught what appeared to be Turner spitting at him.
The video went viral, and Eagles fans were incensed.
After the game, Turner attempted to clear his name.

Stop me if you’ve heard this before: Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff found Amon-Ra St. Brown on a slant route.
That happens, oh I don’t know, a dozen times a game? I admit, that’s not really worth your attention (or my writing time), so why am I bothering cranking this out on a Sunday night when I could be watching Sunday Night Football?
Well, for starters, it’s my job, and I’m on the clock right now, so I had better do it if I want to get paid. But on a more entertaining note, this wasn’t your ordinary Goff-St. Brown connection.
After St.

The LSU football team has been dealt a horrible blow, as star linebacker Harold Perkins has reportedly torn his ACL, and will miss the remainder of the season.
During Saturday’s game against UCLA, Perkins left the field in the fourth quarter and headed straight for the medical tent as trainers checked him out during preliminary testing on his knee.
On Sunday, Harold Perkins reportedly found out the terrible news after an MRI was done on his knee.

You can’t blame Brock Purdy for the 49ers’ loss.
The San Francisco 49ers were always going to face an uphill climb offensively with so many stars out with injury in Week 3 against the Los Angeles Rams. The 49ers have star running back Christian McCaffrey placed on IR, while wide receiver Deebo Samuel and tight end George Kittle were both ruled out ahead of the showdown with LA.

This is what a lack of forethought looks like. This is what lying to oneself and being convinced the words repeated often enough become true turns into on a late summer Sunday in Seattle.
The Miami Dolphins lost to the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday and that’s not surprising considering starting quarterback Tua Tagovailoa didn’t play because he’s on injured reserve.
Tagovailoa has a concussion. It’s his third concussion in the NFL since the 2022 season. It’s his fifth concussion, dating back to his days as the Alabama quarterback.

Derrick Henry ran all over the Cowboys on Sunday.
The Dallas Cowboys’ run defense has been a disaster to start the season, and it had Baltimore Ravens star Derrick Henry licking his chops heading into a Week 3 matchup. Henry is perhaps the best power back of his generation, and his move to the Ravens over the offseason was a beautiful marriage for the player and team. After two decent performances in his first two weeks with the Ravens, Henry was finally ready for his breakout game.
