Former Alabama Heisman trophy winner Mark Ingram effectively removed himself from David Hookstead’s Christmas card list this morning.
Ingram, on set of Fox’s Big Noon Kickoff live from Madison, toyed with the Badger crowd just hours before his alma mater kicks off against Wisconsin. Despite being in enemy territory, Ingram donned a Bama helmet with an 18 decal on the side. As boos rained down on the veteran of 12 NFL seasons, Ingram shouted “Roll Tide,” and asked “where my Bama fans at?”
Well, most are roughly 900 miles away in Tuscaloosa, AL.

Billy Napier, whose seat is easily the hottest not only in college football, but probably all football leagues across the world (including soccer!), is just toying with Florida Gators fans at this point. 
For some reason, Napier has reportedly decided to start Graham Mertz at QB today against Texas A&M. Mertz, a senior in his billionth season, was the incumbent coming into the year, but then got hurt – and STUNK – against Miami in the opener.

The second annual Noche UFC (a.k.a. UFC 306) hits this weekend (Sat., Sept. 14, 2024) in Las Vegas, Nev. … and it is much, much bigger than the inaugural event last year.
Indeed, fighters compete inside The Sphere, which boasts a 160,000 sq. ft. and 16K x 16K resolution interior display plane (in comparison, an IMAX movie screen is less than 4,000 sq. ft.), for the very first time. And according to UFC CEO, Dana White, it will be the greatest live combat sports show ever.

The two companies have settled the dispute that led to a two-week blackout — just in time for college football.
