“Not Just Football” is joining the SB Nation family!
As the podcast world continues to expand and grow, current athletes keep throwing their name into the ring and start podcasts to share their perspective on the NFL and current events in football.
The newest member of the SB Nation podcast family comes in the form of Steelers superstar DL Cameron Heyward and his podcast “Not Just Football”. Heyward and co-host Hayden Walsh hop on weekly to share their thoughts on the NFL and other cultural events in a way that’s unique to both guys.

How much does it cost to win gold?
There are two generally accepted ways of handling a medal count: Gold-focused, as the IOC uses or a total medal count that relies on whoever has the most total medals. Right now the USA is in the lead either way, but it’s also sparked the imagination of different ways to evaluate Olympic success considering the wildly different conditions of countries around the world.

Look, I didn’t think I’d be sitting here today and defending Kodak Black, but that’s why this job keeps me on my toes.
One day, I’m penning tales about Alabama sorority girls reporting for duty, and the next I’m writing about Kodak Black giving a youth football team some of the most insane – yet truthful – advice on drugs I’ve ever heard.
Kodak – a big Trump guy! – was filmed this week giving some inspirational advice to a bunch of youngins about the dos and don’ts of drug use. Obviously, it’s a big no-no.

A majority of the the top college football recruits in the 2025 class have found a home following the period of official visits this summer, with all of the top quarterbacks committed to a program already.
However, there still are a few key players who haven’t decided on their next destination heading into the fall, so let’s break down the recruitments for the top five uncommitted prospects in the 2025 class.

Ethiopian Olympic runner Lamecha Girma is awake and recovering despite losing consciousness earlier after hitting his head during yesterday’s 3000-meter men’s steeplechase.
As Girma was heading into the final straightaway, he clipped his leg while trying to hurdle a barrier, which caused him to slam his head on the ground and lay motionless on the track. Medics immediately rushed over to Girma as other runners were able to avoid colliding with him. The scary incident was caught live on camera during the NBC Peacock broadcast.

Lane Kiffin is among the most active college football coaches when it comes to social media, a perennial pot-stirrer if you will, so news of him being sued by someone isn’t necessarily the most surprising thing in the world. The person suing him and the reasoning behind the recently filed lawsuit is certainly a stunner, however, given the circumstances.
According to court documents obtained by the Clarion Ledger, Kiffin is being sued by Dr. Keith Bell, a Texas-based swimming psychologist and the author of the book “Winning Isn’t Normal.

College football fall camp opened up less than a week ago, and the fellas are already tired of facing their own teammates.
Don’t believe me?
Well, let’s quickly head over to Appalachian State, where one player was caught beating the ever-loving piss out of his teammate with his own helmet. You remember when Myles Garrett did it a few years ago in an actual NFL game?
This is Myles Garrett 2.0. Baby Myles, if you will. This cat isn’t as strong or menacing as Myles, but he has the technique down to a science.

There was no guile in Andy Reid’s voice on Wednesday when he told reporters about Jon Gruden’s previous three days spent with the Kansas City Chiefs. It was as if any other former NFL coach was visiting and casually giving the defending Super Bowl champions some help.
“Yeah, listen, he advises a lot of people so he’s staying busy,” Reid said when asked if he’s planning to hire Gruden as a consultant. “The grass isn’t growing under his feet, man, he’s rolling. I think he’s just going to keep doing that.
