You could tell by the look on his face that Nick Saban was overjoyed to get back in front of the local media in Birmingham on Wednesday to partake in the Regions Pro-Am golf tournament.
Along with current Alabama coach Kalen DeBoer, Georgia’s Kirby Smart, Sen. Tommy Tuberville and plenty of others in the college football world, Nick Saban took his golf game from his beautiful course at Jupiter Hills, Fla., to Birmingham.

Scotsman Robert MacIntyre, who earned PGA Tour status this year, referred to the American based circuit as a “lonely place.”
Thanks to his superb play on the DP World Tour a season ago, which included a runner-up finish to Rory McIlroy at the Genesis Scottish Open, Robert MacIntyre earned PGA Tour membership for the 2024 season.
But playing on the PGA Tour has not been the best experience for MacIntyre, compared to the comfortable confines of the DP World Tour.

Estaban Prado won the Orange County Marathon in California over the weekend, but was stripped of his title thanks to his father and some water.
The 24-year-old finished the race in 2:24:54, which is an absurd pace of just over 5:30 per mile, but was later disqualified from the competition after it was discovered that he accepted water from his father who rode along the 26.2-mile course on a bike.
Runners can, of course, accept water during races, but race organizers deemed Prado “received unauthorized assistance.

Rory McIlroy will no longer replace Webb Simpson on the PGA Tour policy board and the board of directors of PGA Tour Enterprises, saying there were some on the board “that were maybe uncomfortable with me coming back on for some reason.

We put Austin Rivers’ claim to the test.
The time-honored argument of cross sport athletes is rearing its head once more with Austin Rivers and J.J. Watt beefing over whether NBA players could compete in the NFL.
This week Rivers infamously said that as many as THIRTY (30) players in the association could make the jump right now, to which Watt clapped back — scoffing at the suggestion.

You don’t got a job in either right now, go head and try it… https://t.
