On Wednesday, Minnesota Timberwolves assistant coach Micah Nori told assembled media that head coach Chris Finch’s knee surgery had gone well and the team is considering their options on where he’ll be for Game 1 of their second-round playoff series against the Denver Nuggets. Finch suffered a torn patellar tendon in his right knee after a collision with point guard Mike Conley in the Wolves’ series-clinching win over the Phoenix Suns on Monday.
Due to the surgery, Finch will need special accommodations to remain on the sideline.

Alright, Davis, so on the first question, I’d say 3,700 yards, 20 touchdowns and 10 interceptions would be a reasonable stat line for Williams in Year 1.

Woods explained why red is his signature color and promoted his new clothing line on the Today Show.
Tiger Woods‘ clothing and apparel brand, Sun Day Red, is finally here. The brand officially launched Wednesday.
Woods promoted the line on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon Tuesday evening before joining Carson Daly on the Today Show Wednesday morning.
Daly and Woods spoke about various topics, from Scottie Scheffler’s wild swing to the relationship with his children. Daly also wanted to know why the Big Cat wears his signature color.
Former Florida Atlantic star Johnell Davis, a pillar for the program’s 2022-23 Final Four team and the reigning AAC Player of the Year, has committed to John Calipari and Arkansas, he announced on social media Wednesday.
Davis, who was considered to be one of the best players in college basketball to enter the transfer portal, posted career highs in points (18.2), rebounds (6.3), assists (2.9) and three-point field goal percentage (41.4%) in 34 starts for the Owls last season.

Scheffler is doing things golf fans have not seen since Woods accomplished them nearly 20 years ago.
Tiger Woods joined NBC’s Today Show Wednesday morning. He sat with Carson Daly for 10 minutes and tackled a number of topics. They divulged their relationship as young golfers playing together in Southern California, Woods explained why he wears red and detailed the different relationships he has with each of his children.
But Daly kicked things off asking about the current history being made in professional golf.
LaMelo Ball got some new ink, and he did not shy away from going big.
The Charlotte Hornets point guard recently got a massive tattoo that completely covers his back and arms. It features the words “Rare One” with an alien face and “1 of 1” written at the bottom. A video posted to social media showed the process it took to create it, which featured six tattoo artists working together.
That is quite an intense transformation, as Ball’s back and arms when from largely a blank canvas to completely filled.
If one day Paul Skenes of the Pittsburgh Pirates and Alek Manoah of the Toronto Blue Jays duel in a World Series or Interleague Play, they will look back fondly on their night together in Indianapolis on April 30, 2024.
