It’s tough to put a price tag on loyalty, but the PGA Tour is giving it its best shot by delivering very large paydays to some of its top players who have not made the jump to LIV Golf.
Back at the end of January, the PGA Tour struck a $3 billion investment deal with Strategic Sports Group, a consortium of American billionaires, to form a for-profit entity called PGA Tour Enterprises. Staley made national headlines when she proclaimed, “I’m of the opinion that if you’re a woman, you should play. If you consider yourself a woman, and you want to play sports or vice versa, you should be able to play.

The Pittsburgh Steelers are not expected to pick up Justin Fields’ fifth-year option, according to Adam Schefter. That means Fields is set to become a free agent after the 2024 season. The news isn’t surprising, since Fields was due to make just over $25 million on the tag.

There aren’t many goalies in hockey that inspire the level of fear that Sergei Bobrovsky does, and on Tuesday night he showed why. Bob was at his typical brilliance for the entire game against the Lightning, but this save with the game on the line was on another level.
