Homa has built a reputation for his savvy social media presence along with his play. He put that on display yet again.
Max Homa is one of the best golfers in the world. He has won six times on the PGA Tour, earned over $25 million in career earnings, and is currently ranked eighth in the Official World Golf Rankings.
Yet, he has yet to contend in a major championship. As everyone knows, in the sport of golf, major championship wins is how players are truly measured.

NBC is going to have an interesting lineup of hosts for the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics opening ceremony which will include NFL great Peyton Manning and singer/contest-winner/woman whose name Steve Carell yells while getting his chest waxed in The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Kelly Clarkson.
Manning and Clarkson will join NBC Sports Mike Tirico — one of the best in the biz in my opinion; the man can call anything — in the booth to kick off the games.
“I’m extremely honored to have a front row seat,” Manning told the Associated Press.

The Los Angeles Chargers are releasing veteran wide receiver Mike Williams as the new league year begins on Wednesday, the team announced in a statement.

Sam Darnold is a bridge QB with some skills. So how does that fit in Minnesota?
The Vikings were left in an impossible decision with the announcement that Kirk Cousins was heading to the Atlanta Falcons. It was an expected departure in the near future, but Minnesota didn’t think it would come to an end this quickly. It left the team without a starting quarterback, a market of thinning options, and a draft position that didn’t ensure they’d find a prospect in the 2024 NFL Draft.

New York Yankees ace Gerrit Cole is expected to miss one to two months of action due a right elbow injury, according to Mark W. Sanchez and Jon Heyman of the New York Post.
Cole underwent an MRI earlier this week after experiencing some discomfort in his elbow during spring training. On the heels of the MRI, Cole will visit renowned sports surgeon Dr. Neal ElAttrache in Los Angeles to evaluate the injury.

Steve Stricker sat down with Playing Through to talk about a wide variety of topics, including The PLAYERS Championship and the Ryder Cup.
Twelve-time PGA Tour winner Steve Stricker will make his 23rd start at The PLAYERS Championship this week. He last played at TPC Sawgrass in 2021, when he missed the cut thanks to a poor second round in which he shot a 5-over 77.
But Stricker hopes to improve upon that performance this week.

For six seasons, Minnesota Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins gave his team consistently capable play at football’s most important position.
Now, the four-time Pro Bowler is ready for his next chapter.
Cousins, it was reported Monday, is set to sign a four-year, $180 million contract with the Atlanta Falcons in free agency.
On Wednesday morning, Cousins took to social media to share a parting message with Vikings fans.

“I’ve gotta say goodbye to Minnesota, to the Minnesota Vikings,” Cousins said. “That’s what makes today tough.

It was just after 2 p.m. local time when the email hit:
Karl-Anthony Towns. Successful surgery. Reevaluated in four weeks.
Season’s over … right?
Eight hours later, the Minnesota Timberwolves strutted off the Crypto.com Arena floor after a come-from-behind, 118–100 win over the Los Angeles Clippers.
OK … season’s back on.
Injuries in sports are devastating. They are worse—considerably worse—when they happen late in a successful season, as Towns’s has in Minnesota.

Is Jason Kelce going to pull a Tom Brady and unretire?
That’s what many Philadelphia Eagles fans are hoping for, as the recently retired Pro Bowl center has expressed some regret – especially now that the Eagles made a major move by signing former Giants running back Saquon Barkley.
If that wasn’t enough, Kelce was already back at the Eagles practice facility doing some weight training! Sheesh, at least give it a month my man!
“I could not be more bullish. This is what I’m regretting.
