Oakland’s Jack Gohlke is Cinderella, whether he likes it or not.
Gohlke, a senior guard from Pewaukee, Wisconsin, may not look the part. But he hit 10-of-20 3-point field goals, or Gohlkes, for the second most in NCAA Tournament history Thursday night to send No. 3 seed Kentucky down the hole to a double-digit seed in the first round for the second time in three years in an 80-76 loss in Pittsburgh.
“Appreciate it,” Gohlke said in a postgame interview. “But we’re not Cinderella.

CHARLOTTE, NC_ Whether it was because there was an arena filled with Tennessee fans on Thursday night in Charlotte, the video board crew inside Spectrum Arena did a great job at getting the crowd riled up, thanks to Kentucky.
There is no compassion for Kentucky fans from those who wear orange, but Tennessee fans had some help inside the arena from one of the last teams to beat Kentucky in the NCAA Tournament. Saint Peter’s fans had themselves a nice laugh as the video board cut from the in-game action to the ending of Oakland and the Wildcats.

Kampe could’ve bolted for bigger jobs in the past 40 years. He stuck around and delivered one of the most memorable March Madness upsets.
A Jamaica own goal in the sixth minute of stoppage time let the USMNT off the hook and into extra time, where Haji Wright scored off two Giovanni Reyna assists to lead the Yanks into another CONCACAF Nations League Final.
Two years after losing to No. 15 St. Peter’s in the NCAA tournament, the Wildcats fell to No. 14 Oakland as Jack Gohlke came off the bench and made 10 3s.
The New York Yankees got a welcome bit of good news on Wednesday night, as superstar outfielder Aaron Judge made his return to the field.
Judge last played 10 days ago, before going down with a mysterious abdominal injury that required an MRI. Around that same time, the Yankees also lost reigning AL Cy Young Award winner Gerrit Cole to an arm injury, sparking fears that they’d be without their two best players for a significant amount of time.
