Do Lions, 49ers, or Cowboys have best odds to win NFC in either of the next 2 seasons?
If I made you the general manager of an NFL team in January and told you that your goal was to make the playoffs in either of the next two seasons, then you would make different decisions than if I told you that you had to make the playoffs right away and to only worry about 2024. The perfect example of a team that only cares about 2024 is the Dallas Cowboys, and owner Jerry Jones’ actions reveal a man who only cares about the present and not the future.
Dick Vitale has gone through so much and waited so long to announce college basketball games again on ESPN that he almost can’t contain himself.
But he can’t talk about it right now.
“I can only text,” Vitale texted to OutKick on Tuesday afternoon – a day after his doctor announced how “beautifully” his vocal cord reconstruction surgery recently went and that he can likely return “in the fall” to broadcasting.

Who can stop the Chiefs from winning another Super Bowl in either of the next 2 years?
The Kansas City Chiefs should already be considered a dynasty, as the only other teams in NFL history to win at least three Super Bowls in a five-year span or less are the 1974-1979 Steelers, the 1992-1995 Cowboys, the 2001-2004 Patriots, and the 2014-2018 Patriots.
We now have it in writing – the Wicked Witch (of NASCAR) is DEAD. Done. Kaput. Finished. And it’s all thanks to Dale Earnhardt Jr.
By now you all know the saga – Lord knows I’ve written about it enough over the past six weeks. Teresa Earnhardt – Dale Sr.’s widow – has finally released the No. 8 trademark back into the wild after holding it (hostage) for the better part of two decades.
And now, after spending years under the Dale Earnhardt Incorporated (the good kind of DEI!) umbrella, the famous trademark is back with Dale Jr. Back where she belongs.
Haas driver Kevin Magnussen is hoping the game of driver musical chairs ends with him having a seat for 2025
The game of Formula 1 driver musical chairs is heating up, with more drivers having locked down a seat for the 2025 season. That list includes both Sergio Pérez and Yuki Tsunoda, who secured spots in the Red Bull family as was announced ahead of the Canadian Grand Prix.
One driver who is still searching for a spot is hopeful that he will learn his fate “soon.
The PGA Tour would like to see Tiger Woods play in the biggest tournaments on the calendar and has made the path to that reality as easy as it can be by creating a lifetime achievement exemption category giving Woods spots in all signature events beginning next season.
Woods has made just nine starts since his single-car crash in February 2021 with seven of the nine being major championships. The other two starts both came at the Genesis Invitational, a tournament he plays host to, in which the event benefits his foundation.
RGIII is getting cooked after sharing his absurd Angel Reese/Caitlin Clark race war take again.
The former NFL QB turned ESPN personality took serious fire after hopping on X Sunday night to uncork a wild tweet following Clark and the Fever beating the Sky.
“Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese are being used in a race war that is not fair to either athlete or the game of basketball,” the former second overall pick tweeted in reference to outrage about Reese smacking Clark in the head.
The backlash was quick and swift…..
In the midst of an exciting day of baseball, the community received the devastating news of the passing of MLB legend Willie Mays at the age of 93. Remembered as a generational player, the all-time greatest Giant impacted the game of baseball and will live on with incredible reverence.
Hit by the news on Tuesday, Mets commentator Keith Hernandez delivered an emotional tribute to Mays. Hernandez and SNY partner Gary Cohen were on the call for Tuesday’s game between the Mets and Rangers when Mays’ passing was announced.
“The best player I’ve ever seen.
