If I made you the general manager of an NFL team in January and told you that your goal was to make the playoffs in either of the next two seasons, then you would make different decisions than if I told you that you had to make the playoffs right away and to only worry about 2024. The perfect example of a team that only cares about 2024 is the Dallas Cowboys, and owner Jerry Jones’ actions reveal a man who only cares about the present and not the future.

Dick Vitale has gone through so much and waited so long to announce college basketball games again on ESPN that he almost can’t contain himself. 
But he can’t talk about it right now.

One driver who is still searching for a spot is hopeful that he will learn his fate “soon.

The PGA Tour would like to see Tiger Woods play in the biggest tournaments on the calendar and has made the path to that reality as easy as it can be by creating a lifetime achievement exemption category giving Woods spots in all signature events beginning next season.
Woods has made just nine starts since his single-car crash in February 2021 with seven of the nine being major championships. The other two starts both came at the Genesis Invitational, a tournament he plays host to, in which the event benefits his foundation.

RGIII is getting cooked after sharing his absurd Angel Reese/Caitlin Clark race war take again.
The former NFL QB turned ESPN personality took serious fire after hopping on X Sunday night to uncork a wild tweet following Clark and the Fever beating the Sky.
“Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese are being used in a race war that is not fair to either athlete or the game of basketball,” the former second overall pick tweeted in reference to outrage about Reese smacking Clark in the head.

In the midst of an exciting day of baseball, the community received the devastating news of the passing of MLB legend Willie Mays at the age of 93. Remembered as a generational player, the all-time greatest Giant impacted the game of baseball and will live on with incredible reverence. 
Hit by the news on Tuesday, Mets commentator Keith Hernandez delivered an emotional tribute to Mays. Hernandez and SNY partner Gary Cohen were on the call for Tuesday’s game between the Mets and Rangers when Mays’ passing was announced.
