COLUMBUS, Ohio — Oluchi Okananwa had 17 points and 10 rebounds, Yarden Garzon added 17 points and No. 20 Maryland rallied from a 19-point deficit in the first half to beat eighth-ranked Ohio State 76-75 on Sunday.
It is the Terrapins largest comeback since Nov. 13, 2019, when they were down 19 in the fourth quarter at James Madison before posting a 70-68 victory.
Addi Mack had 14 points and Saylor Poffenbarger 13 for Maryland (21-6, 9-6 Big Ten), which beat a Top 10 team for the first time since it defeated Ohio State in the Big Ten quarterfinals last year.

As great as the Daytona 500 is, given how the track is designed and run, and how it’s the opening race of the year, there is usually a big crash or two. 
That was the case on lap 124 of the 2026 Daytona 500. 40 cars were still running the race when a wreck caught up to 20 of them, leaving half the field affected.

Half the Daytona 500 field was wiped out with 77 laps to go Sunday afternoon. That’s usually what happens when the leader wrecks in front of 30 other automobiles going 190 MPH. 
Seventeen cars were involved in a massive wreck on Lap 124, just six laps short of the end of Stage 2. Justin Allgaier, driving for Dale Earnhardt Jr., caused the mayhem when he drifted up the track from the lead and got into Denny Hamlin. 
Hamlin, a three-time Daytona 500 winner, put Allgaier in the wall, and then sent him spinning down in front of the rest of the field.

DURHAM, N.C. — Ashlon Jackson and Taina Mair scored 14 points each on their senior day and No. 11 Duke edged No. 21 North Carolina 72-68 on Sunday, the Blue Devils’ 16th consecutive win.
After a back-and-forth first half that saw 16 lead changes, Duke led 41-33 at halftime and never trailed in the second half. The Blue Devils’ lead was only 56-54 with 30 seconds left in the third quarter but the Tar Heels got no closer.
Delaney Thomas’ layup made it a six-point game with 30 seconds remaining.
