The Fall Classic will return to Yankee Stadium for the first time in 15 years, but Shohei Ohtani’s Dodgers have every intention of spoiling the party.
Yankees vs. Dodgers has probably been one of the most common World Series predictions of the past decade. They’re both consistent powerhouse teams with loads of star power, and both have made the playoffs in every season since 2017 (save for the Yankees’ 2023 absence). They also overlapped in the postseason in 1995, 1996, 2004, 2006, 2009, and 2015.

Dana White continues to be a man of the people!
The UFC President made one mixed martial arts fan’s dreams come true as the amateur fighter shot his shot by hopping on a flight to attend the UFC 308 press conference in Abu Dhabi and ask White if he would give him an opportunity to fight.
25-year-old Nabotov Dorobshokh from Tajikistan approached the open mic part of the press conference, but rather than ask any of the fighters any questions, the 9-0 MMA fighter had a proposition (or more so begged) Dana for an opportunity to show what he has in the octagon.

McLaren driver Oscar Piastri dismissed rumors of a shocking move to Red Bull
It would not be a week in Formula 1 without the rumor mill spinning into action in the paddock.
The latest imaginative tale? Mark Webber, who represents McLaren driver Oscar Piastri, is “ intensively seeking conversation” with Red Bull for a seat alongside Max Verstappen in 2026. At least, that is the claim being made by Red Bull Senior Advisor Dr. Helmut Marko, never one to shy away from offering a spicy quote or two during a race week.

The final weekend of October is upon us, and there are several massive games around the country that will define the landscape of the final month of the season both in the races for conference title game appearances and in the College Football Playoff chase.
The LSU-Texas A&M game is the biggest SEC game of the season, as the Tigers and Aggies are the only two teams left without a conference loss. Oregon has a date with a pesky Illinois team in Eugene and Notre Dame is squaring off with Navy with postseason hopes on the line for both sides.

Quarterback D.J. Lagway and running back Jadan Baugh are looking impressive already.
The Florida Gators pulled off their fourth win of the season this past weekend, cruising past the Kentucky Wildcats 48-20 to improve to 2-2 in conference play.
It was a dominant performance on multiple fronts, as the Gators blasted forward with a 24-point second quarter before cruising through the second half for a blowout victory.

Fine, I’ll say it – it’s time to start arresting NFL referees. Bam. There it is. Lock them up. Throw away the key. Forget we ever saw them.
OK, that’s a little harsh. It was dramatic, even for me. I’ll give you that. Maybe don’t arrest them over a blown call.
But fine them? Suspend them? FIRE them? Take your pick, but someone needs to start holding these guys accountable, or the league is going to start (continue) to plummet.
I know, I know – it’s the NFL! The ratings are always a juggernaut and it’s been a rocket ship for years now.

Despite not playing since the Tour Championship, Justin Thomas has put together two solid rounds at the ZOZO Championship.
After pounding a 313-yard drive right down the middle of the fairway on the par-5 18th, Justin Thomas had only 218 yards left for his second shot—a green-light special for any PGA Tour pro.
The two-time PGA Championship winner took advantage of the opportunity and stuffed his approach to four feet.

Jayden Daniels is nursing a rib injury so his status for Sunday’s game between the Washington Commanders and the Chicago Bears is uncertain — which is disappointing because the game was supposed to match No. 1 overall draft pick Caleb Williams against Daniels, who was picked No. 2.
But OutKick medical contributor Dr. David Chao practically guarantees the marquee matchup will not happen on Sunday. And he’s got five reasons Daniels, nursing a rib cartilage injury, won’t be playing.

Xander Schauffele looked dead in the water after his Thursday blunder. But he has given himself a chance thanks to his strong second round.
Xander Schauffele had a much better day on Friday than Thursday at the ZOZO Championship.
Not only did he celebrate his 31st birthday, but he carded a bogey-free 5-under 65 to move up the leaderboard 28 places.
