Michael Cammarata was the starting right fielder for the Staten Island team that went all the way to the U.S. championship game at the 1991 Little League World Series. A decade later, he was among the 343 firefighters and the nearly 3000 people killed on 9/11. Cammarata remains to this day the youngest FDNY firefighter to die in the line of duty. He is also the only Little Leaguer whose number has been retired by the Little League World Series and will never be worn in Williamsport, PA again. This is the story of his life and legacy.
