Reich and Glenn were teammates on the 1996 Jets. That team went 1-15.
Reich becomes the Jets’ 12th offensive play-caller over a 16-year span. That’s ludicrous.
The Jets desperately need him to bring some stability to the offensive coordinator position.

Texas A&M baseball is gearing up for the 2026 season, and while expectations are modest, the roster is strong enough to make a legitimate push back to postseason play. Cedric Thornton has replaced Gregg Williams as defensive coordinator for Tennessee State football.
Williams, who the coach of the Buffalo Bills (2001-03) and interim coach of the Cleveland Browns (2018), was fired on Jan. 15 after spending one season at TSU. Thornton was promoted by second-year coach Reggie Barlow after spending the 2025 season as linebackers coach and associate head coach. He will retain the role of associate head coach.
TSU’s defense finished the 2025 season ranked second overall (339.8 yards) in the Big South/Ohio Valley Conference and fourth in scoring (26.

Nobody who follows, watches, or analyzes Major League Baseball would argue that Detroit Tigers starting pitcher Tarik Skubal isn’t one of the best two or three pitchers in the sport. Well, nobody except for the Detroit Tigers organization.
As a reminder, Skubal in 2024 had a 2.39 ERA, 228 strikeouts in 192 innings, walked just 33 hitters, and racked up six wins above replacement. Then he got better in 2025. His ERA dropped to 2.21. He had 241 strikeouts in 195.1 innings, just 33 walks, and led the league in WHIP with 0.891, good for 6.6 wins above replacement.

Imane Khelif has finally admitted to possessing XY chromosomes.
In a new interview with French sports outlet L’Équipe, the Algerian boxer addressed the controversy that surrounded the women’s boxing competition at the Paris Olympics, where Khelif won gold despite questions surrounding the athlete’s biological sex. 
Khelif is not transgender but reportedly has a condition called difference of sex development (DSD).
In the interview, Khelif confirmed the presence of the SRY gene, a sex-determining gene located on the Y chromosome that triggers male development.

And yes, an injury to any member of that unit can be devastating, because the best lines function as one unit. All roads lead here: to Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif. and Super Bowl LX. The Seattle Seahawks enter as the favorite, but there are paths to a New England Patriots victory, which we’ll hit in this Super Bowl edition of the Four Verts column. There’s a lot at stake Sunday. Let’s go over some of the biggest storylines.
Patriots’ offense appears to be outmanned again
New England’s offense has faced some of the toughest defenses the NFL has to offer en route to a Super Bowl berth.

Shams Charania: Ja Morant remained with the Memphis Grizzlies past today’s NBA trade deadline. Multiple teams were intrigued by Morant’s talent but none were willing to make a serious offer, sources said.

They could not find a trade partner willing to send anything of value back for Ja Morant, who still has two years and more than $87 million remaining on his contract after this season. The inability to find a trade partner brings Morant’s frigid relationship with the Grizzlies’ organization back to the forefront. He had received a one-game suspension earlier this season after openly clashing with head coach Tuomas Iisalo.
