This is just sad.
Nothing is sacred anymore. On December 24, Victor Wembanyama gave us one of the great jersey swaps of all time when a young fan holding a sign traded his tiny, youth-sized Wemby jersey for one about 40 sizes too big for him.

It was an iconic moment. Adorable in every way. A literal giant of a basketball player standing next to a child who was just taller than his knee. Unfortunately, nothing is sacred, and now the jersey from the game is up for auction.

LeBron James has admitted defeat!
The outspoken “King” has changed his tune after initially claiming that the NBA continues to reign supreme on Christmas Day.
Upon further review, and after the ratings showed that this year’s NFL Christmas Day broadcast obliterated the NBA, LeBron now admits that he was full of it to begin with, but claims that he “had to stand up for the NBA.

It’s not Jayden Daniels’ mobility that makes Washington dangerous for Detroit.
This game is all about how the Lions defend another scrambling QB in Jayden Daniels. To keep it quite simple, Jayden Daniels IS the engine that keeps the Commanders’ offense going. Whether it be his steadily growing golf clubs he has as a passer or the force he is as a runner, the Commanders’ offense lives and dies on his ability.

Nine NBA games involving nine teams have been rescheduled as a result of the three games postponed last week due to the L.A. wildfires and an Atlanta ice storm.
The Notre Dame head coach has his team is playing for the national title Monday, but with at least one NFL team interested in him. Don’t be in such a rush.

TGL is cool and different, but that won’t last forever.
The game of golf is in a very fractured place right now as far as entertainment is concerned.
Let me be clear and say that I absolutely love golf. I love playing golf, I love watching golf and I love golf content in general.
But the game of golf has made being a fan of golf and watching golf a hard thing to do.
I say all of this to say that the introduction of TGL last week was a very exciting thing for somebody like me.

One of the craziest stories happening anywhere right now is the rash of break-ins at superstar athletes’ homes, and unfortunately, Pittsburgh Penguins forward Evgeni Malkin may be the latest victim.
According to reports, Malkin’s home was burglarized over the weekend, with Jennifer Barasso (not to be confused with former Penguins netminder Tom Barrasso) reporter for Pittsburgh TV station KDKA reported that three very important items were missing from the star’s home.
Alright… now these break-ins have crossed a line.

Houston’s defense will try and put Mahomes in a blender.
I’m actually quite intrigued by this matchup between the Chiefs and Texans, largely because I think the Texans’ defense is playing some of the best football in the NFL right now. What they did to the Chargers on Wild Card weekend might violate the Geneva Convention. They pressured Justin Herbert on more than half of his dropbacks, forced four interceptions and allowed a -0.58 EPA per play, the fourth-lowest in the playoffs since 2016 (per Next Gen Stats).

Commanders, Lions, Rams and Eagles X-factors in NFL Playoffs Divisional Round
Now that the NFL is down to the Divisional Round of the playoffs, there are just eight teams and four games left in the tournament to ultimately decide which two squads will face off in Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans on Feb. 9. As these postseason games grow in importance, so do the performances from all the superstars you know.
But there are also crucial players with lesser-known names whose exploits could ultimately be just as important to the final outcome.
Which fighters will top our list of the best 50 fighters in MMA based on their expected 2025 performance?

Let’s dive into the wildest scenario in the NFL.
It started as a joke. In March of 2024, in our company Slack room, I laughed about how the “most Cowboys thing possible” would be for Jerry Jones to move on from Mike McCarthy after the season, hire Deion Sanders, and find a way to draft Shedeur Sanders as their starting QB.
At the time, it was so unimaginable that it became a recurring joke — but I couldn’t shake the idea of it being so preposterous that it could become a reality.

It’s become commonplace in recent years for NFL quarterbacks to shower their offensive linemen with extravagant gifts for Christmas. But Peyton Manning isn’t on board with this tradition — not for everybody, anyway.
Of course, it’s the O-linemen’s job to protect the QB. Their efforts ensure the signal caller doesn’t find himself flattened onto the playing surface after every snap. Lavish Christmas gifts are essentially the quarterback’s way of telling his blockers, Thanks for keeping me alive this season.

Ole Miss Big Man Shoots His Shot, Says Rebels Will Make Final Four After Monster Road Win At Alabama
Ole Miss traveled to Alabama on Tuesday night as a Top 25 team. While one ranked team going on the road and beating a ranked opponent is a regularity in college hoops, the Rebels’ win over the Crimson Tide wasn’t just different, it was historic.
Ole Miss, a 10-point underdog ahead of tip-off, entered Tuesday’s contest having last won in Tuscaloosa during the 2014-15 season. The Rebels were also 0-34 all-time in previous road games against Top 5 teams.

3 NFL players, 1 coach, and a fanbase who deserve to celebrate a Super Bowl win this season
As we enter the NFL Divisional Playoff round and there are just eight teams remaining in the hunt for the championship, here is a look at five figures around the league who deserve to win their first Super Bowl title.
Here they are, presented in alphabetical order:
Bills Mafia
This wonderfully wild bunch were on my list last year frankly, they will remain on it until the Bills’ win a Super Bowl.
Golden State is mediocre and Curry’s career timeline is reaching a similar spot as Tom Brady’s last year in New England. A trade would help both player and team.
Are you planing on attending the upcoming College Football Playoff title game between Ohio State and Notre Dame on Monday night in Atlanta? If you are, and haven’t purchased tickets yet, I’d say continue holding the line, judging by the latest numbers.
Obviously, this should be a ratings dream for ESPN next week, with the Buckeyes and Fighting Irish having the allure of a title game that is ‘different’ than last year.

Dear abusive football fans: Your actions at stadiums every weekend have consequences, as the Philadelphia Eagles fan who became abusive to a married couple of Green Bay Packers fans at the Wild Card playoff game in Philly has just found out.
The fan, who called the wife the c-word among other things, was found by social media sleuths and identified. Soon afterward, the Eagles banned him from Lincoln Financial Field. And then the issue followed him straight to his job site.
His former job site.
Tiger Woods and his Jupiter Links team made their TGL debut on Tuesday night, and it went exactly as expected. Not only did Jupiter get dominated 12-1 by the heavily favored Los Angeles Golf Club, but Woods’ team delivered some memorable moments throughout the match.
The Big Cat kicked things off by throwing ‘the hammer’ down before a single shot was hit, making the first hole worth double the points.
A father has stirred up quite a controversy after putting his little kid’s Victor Wembanyama game-used jersey for auction, just days after he received it from the star NBA player himself.
The unidentified father and his young son went viral a few weeks ago after the young boy held up a sign at a San Antonio Spurs game that read, “Hey Victor Wembenyama – can you do a jersey swap with me?” After the game, the 7-foot-3 Spurs center – last year’s Rookie of the Year – came over and did what was truly an adorable and very cool moment for the young kid.
