Democratic Rep. Seth Moulton continues to face backlash for breaking party lines when it comes to transgender athletes in women’s sports.
After Donald Trump’s victory in the 2024 Election, Moulton spoke out against his own party for making too much of an effort to champion trans inclusion in women’s sports, and he blamed that ideology as one reason for losing the election.
“Democrats spend way too much time trying not to offend anyone rather than being brutally honest about the challenges many Americans face,” Moulton told The New York Times.

If you’re a sports fan, you know all about rivalries. As a Boston sports fan, I certainly do: Red Sox-Yankees, Celtics-Lakers, Bruins-Canadiens. (Jeez, Boston has a ton of hated enemies. Is it because we’re that good, or are we just spiteful jerks that love picking fights?)
One of the biggest in the NFL is the one between the Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers. This rivalry doesn’t just go back a few decades, it goes back over a century. These two teams have been playing since 1921 (before the Great Depression or World War II) and have squared off over 200 times.

The Los Angeles Sparks drew the No. 2 pick, the Chicago Sky No. 3, and the Washington Mystics No. 4.
The results are in: the Dallas Wings will own the No. 1 pick in the 2025 WNBA Draft. That means they’ll likely draw Paige Bueckers, the University of Connecticut star who was named National Player of the Year as a freshman, and has since solidified herself as an outstanding two-way point guard. This season, Bueckers is averaging 21.3 points per game on 65% shooting, alongside 4 assists and 3.5 rebounds.
The Pittsburgh Steelers were able to hold off the Baltimore Ravens 18-16 on Sunday, but quarterback Russell Wilson caused way more stress for both Steelers fans and his coaches late in the contest.
Wilson has played well since taking over under center for the Steelers, having now led Pittsburgh to four straight wins, but he reminded the NFL world that he’s still capable of making horrendous mistakes on occasion. That version of Russell Wilson showed up in the fourth quarter of Sunday’s game.

Nelly Korda won for the first time since May, as she came from behind to claim her seventh victory of the season.
Nelly Korda had nothing going for her early on Sunday at The ANNIKA. She made three bogies on the front nine and made the turn at 9-under par, trailing Englishwoman Charley Hull by a pair. Something seemed off with Korda’s game, and a victory also seemed far out of reach.
And then she proved why she is the best player on the planet.

Charlotte Hornets star LaMelo Ball was assigned a very steep fine by the NBA after jokingly saying “no homo” during a postgame interview on Saturday.
The league’s language police handed Ball a $100,000 fine for the phrase.
“Charlotte Hornets guard LaMelo Ball has been fined $100,000 for making an offensive and derogatory comment in a postgame interview,” NBA executive Joe Dumars relayed Sunday.
“We loaded up – no homo,” Ball said after the win when asked about defending Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo.

They say imitation is the highest form of flattery. If that’s the case, Marshawn Lynch should feel great about himself after this Jameson Williams touchdown.
Just after the third quarter started in a matchup between the Detroit Lions and the (miserable) Jacksonville Jaguars at Ford Field. On a 2nd-and-4, Jared Goff scanned the field and hit Williams in stride for an easy first down. Then Williams turned on the burners and sprinted to the house for a 64-yard score.

Doug Pederson will get on the Jacksonville Jaguars charter flight back home from Sunday’s game at the Detroit Lions, but there is no guarantee he’ll ever coach the team again.
That’s because the Jaguars, 2-9 following Sunday’s blowout loss to the Lions, will spend some time during their bye week determining whether to fire Pederson. And, per one source in Jacksonville, the favor Pederson enjoyed with owner Shad Khan as late as a couple of weeks ago has nearly disappeared.
A serious evaluation is looming.

With huge games, the standings during Week 11 are sure to jostle.
With huge games in both the NFC and AFC playoff pictures, the standings could definitely see a huge shift during Week 11.
Headlining the early window was a divisional matchup featuring the Pittsburgh Steelers and Baltimore Ravens. The winner took the lead in the AFC North while the loser leads the Wild Card race.
The late afternoon window on Sunday features an absolutely massive game in the AFC with the first-place Kansas City Chiefs visiting the second-place Buffalo Bills.
These TV networks should have learned by now: You don’t edit stuff out of sports broadcasts because you send a message that beclowns you. But CBS apparently hasn’t learned.
On Sunday, in the Las Vegas Raiders game at the Miami Dolphins, tight end Brock Bowers scored on a 23 yard touchdown catch.
And he finished it off with a Trump Dance.
Not super huge news. The entire football playing world seems to be doing the Trump Dance now.
The coolest in the NFL may be the San Francisco 49ers.

We have enjoyed our fair share of fun at Will Levis’ expense this season.
We have poked fun at his mayonnaise-scented cologne and highlighted his poor turnovers from early in the season that led to hilarious reactions on the field, and on the Tennessee Titans’ sideline. We even posited that his getting an MVP vote at midseason was the true election interference.
Rick Pitino still has bragging rights over his son, Richard Pitino. Rick’s St. John’s hoops team defeated Richard’s New Mexico Lobos, 85-71, on Sunday afternoon at Madison Square Garden.
As the clock wound down, St. John’s fans chanted “Who’s Your Daddy?” while the elder Pitino directed the crowd to “stop, stop, stop.”
Richard didn’t seem too bothered by the playful jeering, though.
“I was a New York Yankee fan and all I could think of was Pedro Martinez,” Richard said, via NJ.com.
As OutKick reported earlier Sunday, the Mountain West Conference says it “did not find sufficient evidence of claims in a recent Title IX complaint” that claimed transgender San Jose State (SJSU) volleyball player Blaire Fleming colluded with a Colorado State player to throw a match last month.
In addition to that allegation being included in a Title IX complaint, it’s also contained in a lawsuit filed last week that is headed by the lead attorney for the pro-woman organization Independent Council On Women’s Sport (ICONS), which is funding and backing the lawsuit.

Nothing about the Butterfield Bermuda Championship is necessarily sexy. Sure, island golf is kind of cool, but the penultimate tournament of the PGA Tour season, taking place in mid-November no less with an incredibly weak field, doesn’t make for the most-intriguing event on paper.
There are three things in life that are certain: death, taxes, and Justin Tucker converting field goals. At least, that’s how it used to be.
The first two aren’t changing, because we haven’t found the Fountain of Youth, and taxes aren’t going away anytime soon (big sad). Now, it seems that the Baltimore Ravens kicker is not a guaranteed lock to drill field goals from insane distances – or regular ones, for that matter.
Remember, this guy is not only the most accurate kicker ever (he has converted 89.
Josh Allen is playing like an MVP candidate and Patrick Mahomes has Kansas City sitting in the driver’s seat at 9-0. Tap in for updates from the rivalry’s latest chapter.

Bill Cowher is a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame and the Pittsburgh Steelers Hall of Honor. And on Sunday, he was initiated into another elite institution: Bills Mafia.
The NFL on CBS crew aired their pregame show live in Buffalo ahead of the much-anticipated match-up between the Bills and the undefeated Kansas City Chiefs. And when in R̶o̶m̶e̶ Buffalo, it only seems appropriate to participate in the Bills fans’ most beloved tradition: jumping through plastic tables.
Co-hosts J.J. Watt and Nate Burleson — both significantly younger than Cowher — took their turns first.

Adam Silver had the perfect clap back for Shaquille O’Neal after the Hall of Famer claimed the NBA has become too “boring.”
Viewership is down in the NBA, and on a recent episode of The Big Podcast with Shaq, O’Neal gave his theory on why. He said teams have abandoned good basketball in favor of just throwing up 3s.
“It’s down because we’re looking at the same thing,” O’Neal said. “Everybody is running the same plays… Steph Curry and those guys messed it up.
