One of the first things you notice is the number of cameras. They’re everywhere, trained on the four ice sheets at a variety of angles. Some fixed. Some swooping down on cables. Others manoeuvred on long arms.
Coaches clad in anoraks and armed with laptops discuss data posted on large screens, their conversations punctuated by the clunk of granite on granite as Team GB’s curlers hone their games on the perfectly prepared ice.

Jamestown High School’s scrappy girls basketball team gave undefeated Minot High all the Majettes could handle. While the Blue Jays wound up dropping 62-50, Tuesday was also Minot’s lowest scoring conference game of the 2025-26 season. The next action for the Jays will be on the road at Bismarck High on Friday evening. Jamestown will end the week with a game at Williston on Saturday.

NEW YORK (AP) — Pascal Siakam scored 30 points, Andrew Nembhard had 24 points and 10 assists and the Indiana Pacers snapped a four-game losing streak by holding off the New York Knicks with a 137-134 overtime victory on Tuesday night.
The Pacers scored the first nine points of overtime and overcame a furious Knicks run over the final 24.3 seconds, during which they scored eight points in 20 seconds.
Indiana had eight players that scored in double figures and the Pacers’ bench outscored New York’s 43-18.

Coach Roberto De Zerbi has left Marseille “by mutual agreement”, the French club said early Wednesday, days after they were thrashed 5-0 by bitter rivals Paris Saint-Germain.

On Tuesday night, Pike hosted Mt Vernon for a top-10 clash in Indianapolis. The Red Devils defended home court and picked up an 84-81 overtime win. They did so with WNBA superstar Caitlin Clark in attendance.
The Indiana Fever guard pulled up to watch two of the best teams in the Hoosier State and the matchup delivered. Clark herself will return to the court in just a couple of months when the WNBA season gets going at the end of April.
