Bob Huggins wants a shot at the Louisville job, but he might be setting himself up for a lot of disappointment.
Huggins was pushed out the door by West Virginia prior to this season after an arrest for allegedly driving under the influence. His arrest came shortly after he found himself in hot water with WVU leadership over using a homophobic slur during a radio interview.
The back-to-back problems were simply too much for Huggins to survive with the Mountaineers. He recently expressed interest in possibly returning to Morgantown for his old job.

Charley Hull is no slouch, but the shade she received from a fellow Englishwoman was interesting to read.
Nelly Korda and Charley Hull are two of the biggest stars on the LPGA.
Korda earned her 10th victory and second of this 2024 season at the Fir Hills Seri Pak Championship to reclaim the World No. 1 spot. Meanwhile, Hull finished tied for 10th and had a shot to win, but wasn’t able to get over that hump.
Despite Hull being the No.
What kind of haul could the Patriots get if they trade No. 3 to the Vikings? Phil Perry plays out an interesting scenario in his latest 2024 NFL Mock Draft.

Let’s rank the best matchups of the Sweet 16 in the men’s NCAA tournament.
The 2024 NCAA Tournament has plenty of great matchups to watch during the Sweet 16. The first weekend featured a lack of major upsets and a true Cinderella story. But the flip side to a chalk-filled bracket is a second weekend filled with college basketball’s elite teams.
This is only the fifth time all four No. 1 and No. 2 seeds advanced to the Sweet 16 and the first time since 2019.

Daniel Ricciardo’s slow start at VCARB has turned up the heat, but just how hot is it?
We are three races into the Formula 1 season.
While much remains the same from 2024 — Red Bull is leading the Constructors’ Championship and Max Verstappen is atop the Drivers’ standings — recent events have shaken the field up a bit. Mercedes is floundering, McLaren is strong, and Ferrari has certainly closed the gap to Red Bull.
Chris DiMarco earned over $22.6 million during his PGA Tour career that spanned over 20 years, from the mid 1990s to the mid 2010s. He’s earned north of $1.25 million on the Champions Tour since turning 50.
Most would agree that earning over $23 million as a professional golfer is a great life, a substantial sum of money, and there would be very little DiMarco could possibly complain about when it comes to the money in professional golf.
Princely Umanmielen had some very blunt thoughts about his coaching – or lack thereof – during his time with the Florida Gators.
Umanmielen, a very talented DE, was one of the most sought after players in the transfer portal, and eventually landed at Ole Miss to finish his college career.
Lane Kiffin has certainly found himself a great piece to help bolster his defense for the 2024 campaign. Umanmielen also seems happy for a reason you don’t often hear guys admit:
He didn’t really receive coaching at Florida.
Phoenix went all-in to build a championship contender, but Kevin Durant and Co. are headed toward the play-in unless they finally find a rhythm in the wild West.
We are just a few weeks away from what could potentially be the most chaotic transfer portal period in college football since its inception, and Lane Kiffin is again ready to take advantage of the ‘shitty system’ if he needs to.
The new portal rules that allow players to transfer as many times as they see fit has caused an uproar around athletic departments across the country.
Now we know what Jerry Jones really meant when he said he’s “all in” for the 2024 Dallas Cowboys’ season. He actually meant something closer to it’s do or die.
That’s the message everyone should be getting following the close of the NFL annual meeting at which the Cowboys owner/general manager/voice from on high told reporters the contract situation with quarterback Dak Prescott is where it is for the 2024 season and there may or may not be further movement on it.
The announcement that the NFL will have a Christmas Day doubleheader is troubling. It’s an incremental step. Don’t think the league will stop there.
A player making an NHL debut is always a cool occasion, but few first games in the league have had as many unique full-circle moments as Arizona Coyotes rookie Josh Doan.
Doan — as you may have guessed — is the son of Shane Doan who spent more than two decades in the league, all of it with the Winnipeg Jets/Phoenix Coyotes/Arizona Coyotes organization. His No. 19 is the franchise’s only retired number.
So, it was a cool enough moment when the ‘Yotes selected the younger Doan in the second round of the 2021 NHL Draft.
Officials ruled Green’s actions only a common foul.
Caitlin Clark reportedly has millions waiting on the table if she’s willing to play a handful of games in Ice Cube’s Big3 league.
The Iowa Hawkeyes superstar is currently in the Sweet 16 in the women’s NCAA Tournament, and she’s a lock to be the first overall pick in the WNBA Draft.
However, she might make NBA-level money without ever playing a second of basketball in the WNBA.
Clark has been offered $5 million to play up to 10 games in the Big3 as the league’s first female player, according to TMZ.
Before NASCAR, there was moonshine. After NASCAR, there will still be moonshine.
Don’t know if that’s on a shirt somewhere in the bowels of North Wilkesboro Speedway yet, but it should be. You’re welcome, marketing team!
After decades of rumors and tin-foil hats, the conspiracy theorists were proven … RIGHT! … yesterday about the legendary NASCAR track.
Will the Broncos trade up to draft a quarterback, take one at No.

NFL fans didn’t cancel streaming platforms after playoff games, which only means one thing
The 2023-2024 NFL playoffs saw an NFL first.
No, not the game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Miami Dolphins, which despite frigid conditions went into the history books as just the fourth-coldest game in NFL history.
But the way that game was broadcast.
For the first time in NFL history, a playoff game was streamed exclusively on a streaming service.
The Wisconsin Badgers basketball program is bleeding talent.
Wisconsin and Greg Gard were humiliated in the first round of the NCAA Tournament by James Madison, and it’s the latest season to come to a brutal end. The team’s last Sweet 16 appearance was in 2017.
Fans have had enough, and the outrage is boiling over. Another problem fans have feared is a mass exodus of talent with the program racing towards consistent mediocrity, and it appears that might happen.
A former employee of the Jacksonville Jaguars who hacked into the team’s jumbotron during multiple games has been sentenced to 220 years in prison for producing child sexual abuse material.
The team first hired Samuel Thompson as a contractor in 2013 to consult on the design and instillation of the then-new video network before later being hired to operate the jumbotron on gamedays. It appears that the Jaguars did not do a thorough background check on Thompson, given that in 2018 the team discovered that he was a registered sex offender with a prior conviction.
The internet had plenty of fun with Caleb Williams’ appearance at the USC/Kansas women’s NCAA Tournament game.
The projected top pick in the NFL Draft was in the house to watch the action go down when he was filmed holding a pink phone and what appeared to be some kind of small pink clutch. Some even wondered if his nails were painted pink and if he was wearing something on his lips.
After all, Caleb Williams infamously painted the f-bomb on his nails multiple times. Anything is possible with the former USC QB.

Here’s a new two-round NFL mock draft
The first wave of NFL free agency has come and gone, and with it we get a better glimpse of what the vision is for NFL teams going into the draft. Player acquisition isn’t only about finding talent, of course, but the formatting of these players into what the goal is for the 2024 season. With most of the big name guys out the way, the attention turns to the 2024 NFL Draft, which is in a little over a month.

Let’s rank the Sweet 16 field in 2024 women’s NCAA tournament by their national championship chances
After the first two rounds of the women’s NCAA tournament, No. 1-overall seed South Carolina has cemented its status as the overwhelming favorite, running over, past and all around No. 16-seed Presbyterian in the first round and No. 8-seed North Carolina in the second round to push the Gamecocks’ record to a perfect 34-0.

Jim Harbaugh sounds just like everyone’s retired dad when it comes to his thoughts on living in an RV.
The former Michigan coach floated the possibility of living in an RV after taking the Chargers job while waiting for the dust to settle. Well, that’s exactly what he’s doing, and it sounds like he couldn’t be happier.
“It’s been great. Just being myself. I always wanted to do that (and live in an RV). It worked out great. I’m 100 feet from Greg Roman, who has a really, really good RV,” Harbaugh told MLive.com about living the RV lifestyle.
John Calipari will get at least one more season in Lexington with the Kentucky Wildcats.
Kentucky was bounced from the first round of the NCAA Tournament by Oakland in a shocking upset loss, and the team has just one tournament win in the past five seasons.
Many UK fans have thrown the towel in on Calipari and are ready for change. There’s been nonstop chatter about what AD Mitch Barnhart should and will do.
Will Calipari lose his job? Will he survive to fight another day? The decision is in, and some fans might not love it.
The baseball super-agent built a reputation for getting top dollar from teams with a tried-and-true formula. Yet this offseason was a disaster for his biggest clients.
New York Jets cornerback Sauce Gardner made antisemitic remarks during a podcast appearance over the weekend and promptly walked back the comments after facing backlash on social media.
Gardner made the tasteless remark that Jews “run the world” and later tried to clarify his comment, claiming he was unaware of the tasteless troupe.
When streamer Adin Ross mentioned being gifted a Tesla Cybertruck by a Jewish friend, Gardner responded, hesitating for a moment.
Gardner clearly understood what he insinuated with the comment.
Draymond Green can’t stop throwing cheap shots.
Green is truly on an all-time run of pure dirtbag antics, and he’s not slowing down. During Tuesday night’s game between Green’s Golden State Warriors and the Miami Heat, the vet hooked his arm around Heat guard Patty Mills’ neck. The dangerous motion by Green resulted in a Flagrant Foul.
Just a week ago, Green caused a bench-clearing scuffle against the Memphis Grizzlies, knocking over Grizzlies coach Taylor Jenkins in the process.
Green is a wrecking ball that the NBA can’t control.
Jordan Montgomery and the Arizona Diamondbacks are in agreement on a one-year, $25 million deal with a vesting player option for a second season, sources told ESPN on Tuesday night.
Shohei Ohtani’s representatives declined again Tuesday to answer ESPN’s questions about which authorities they have contacted to report their allegation of theft against Ohtani’s former interpreter.
Weddings, school dances, music festivals — in small pockets along the Aral Sea, there are signs of life. New cafes, clothing stores and bodegas boasting imported snacks have popped up. Reminders of the once-mighty Aral linger.
MILWAUKEE (AP) — Austin Reaves had a triple-double and made a tiebreaking 3-pointer with 37.8 seconds left in the second overtime as the Los Angeles Lakers overcame the absence of LeBron James and rallied to beat the Milwaukee Bucks 128-124 on Tuesday night. Reaves had 29 points, 14 rebounds and 10 assists in 47 minutes as the Lakers opened a six-game trip by winning their fourth straight despite trailing by 19 points in the fourth quarter and never leading in regulation.

For more than 40 years now, moviegoers have lined up to see the spectacle of people being slaughtered by a psycho with a chainsaw, a psycho in a Halloween mask, a psycho in a goalie mask, a psycho with burnt skin and a striped shirt and fedora, or a psycho with S&M nails in his …
Kentucky has lost in the first round of the NCAA tournament in two of the past three seasons.
A triple-double from Austin Reaves and 34 points-24 boards from Anthony Davis powered L.A.’s 4th-quarter rally while LeBron James watched from the sidelines.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is currently searching for former Detroit Lions cornerback Cameron Sutton, 29.
Sutton was part of the Detroit Lions up until last week when the Hillsborough County authorities announced the player’s arrest warrant.
The former third-round pick faces a charge of domestic battery by strangulation, stemming from an emergency call made on March 7, with Sutton as the prime suspect. Sutton has been on the run ever since.
A day after the warrant went public, the Lions front office cut its losses and released the player (Mar. 21).
Stunningly, a male athlete beat a bunch of female athletes in a recent weightlifting competition.
Who could have ever predicted this?
The Masters National Weightlifting Championships were held this past weekend in Reno, Nevada, with men and women competing in separate categories. Or at least, mostly competing in different categories.
As noticed by the Libs of TikTok X (formerly Twitter) account, in one specific category, a weightlifter named Vicki Piper easily won in a specific category. There’s just one problem, Vicki Piper is biologically male.
The Dodgers apparently didn’t love Mizuhara’s influence on Ohtani before the scandal.
Red Bull team principal Christian Horner is a lightning rod for controversy these days. Of course, he’s dealing with one heck of a situation at work after an employee accused him of inappropriate behavior.
But away from the track and the factory, he’s got some of his neighbors fired up, and they’re running hotter than Max Verstappen’s right-rear brake in Australia.
Jordan Montgomery is changing sides from the 2023 World Series.
Ahead of Opening Day, here’s our ranking of the characters who will help determine how the 2024 season plays out.
Former Alabama head coach Nick Saban (it still feels weird to type that) has done a lot in the 72 years and changed that he has been on this Earth. However, sending an email was not one of them.
At least not until very recently.
On Tuesday, ESPN published a piece detailing Saban’s life after he shocked the college football world with his retirement announcement.
According to his wife of over 50 years, Terry, the legendary coach is doing some everyday activities for the very first time.
Shohei Ohtani on Monday gave a 12-minute statement explaining his side of the story of the alleged payments sent from his accounts to an allegedly illegal bookmaker.
READ: Shohei Ohtani Plans To Speak With Media On Monday To Address Ex-Interpreter’s Gambling Allegations
For some fans and media members, his explanation was enough to settle any remaining doubts: Ohtani is the victim here. His statement generally matched the media reports last week; that his interpreter, Ippei Mizuhara, had lied to him and paid his $4.
A good kick returner just became a lot more valuable.
