Exactly a quarter of the NFL is 2-0 right now, perfectly hitting that bell curve. It’s been a wild start to the season with teams wildly swinging up and down from our preseason expectations, but when it comes to the top of the heap there aren’t that many surprises.
Now that we have two weeks in the books it’s worth looking at the undefeated teams in the NFL and rating them again based on their Super Bowl chances this season.

Henry Pollock turned down rival offers worth hundreds of thousands of pounds more than his extension to stay at boyhood club Northampton, says Eddie Hearn.

After two weeks of NFL action, only eight teams are still without a win.
But with the league’s expansion to a 17-game schedule, as well as the expanded playoff format, an 0-2 start is no longer the deathblow for a team’s playoff chances. Last year alone the Houston Texans, the Chicago Bears, and the Carolina Panthers all made the playoffs despite dropping their first two games.

The Seattle Seahawks blew out the Arizona Cardinals in Week 2, beating their division rival 31-7. One of the biggest storylines was the return of one of Seattle’s most important defensive players. Safety Nick Emmanwori returned to action.
Emmanwori played nine snaps in what the Seahawks used as a ramp-up opportunity for the sophomore defender. The 35th overall selection in the 2025 NFL draft had been sidelined since July after undergoing ankle surgery. Emmanwori missed the entire preseason and huge chunks of training camp as well.

The USGA and R&A sent a notice to golf equipment manufacturers on Monday stating that the game’s governing bodies want to explore three Model Local Rules that could require golfers in elite competitions to use shorter golf balls, drivers with less spring-like effect and clubs shorter than the limits currently allowed.
The proposals, requested by the PGA Tour and DP World Tour, could be implemented as early as January 2028, and manufacturers have until Oct. 21 to send the USGA and R&A their comments and thoughts.

There are things that happen in the NFL Draft that simply don’t surprise you after watching classes unfold over the years. It wasn’t the least bit surprising when Zach Wilson became a bust for the Jets after seeing how he played at BYU against cupcake opponents, knowing that his play wouldn’t translate to the NFL. It came as no shock when Troy Williamson busted in 2005, when his only trait was speed, coupled with hands of stone and no route-running ability.

After missing the last three races due to a wrist injury, Isack Hadjar will return to action this weekend for Red Bull at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix.
Hadjar suffered the wrist injury while training during the annual August shutdown, forcing him to miss the Dutch Grand Prix, the Italian Grand Prix, and the first Spanish Grand Prix at the new circuit in Madrid, the Madring.

New York Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart left Monday night’s game against the Los Angeles Rams with a knee injury but received an encouraging assessment afterward from general manager Joe Schoen.
Dart was hurt on the opening series at SoFi Stadium. On third-and-8, Rams linebacker Byron Young hit the second-year quarterback from his right side and drove him into linebacker Josaiah Stewart. Dart landed hard, immediately grabbed his knee, and stayed down as trainers evaluated him.
He eventually walked off under his own power with a limp and was led toward the locker room.

Andros Townsend has recalled a “terrifying” incident when he was run over by an out-of-control pitch roller in Thailand, saying, “I thought I was done”.
The former England winger, who now plays for Thai League 1 side PT Prachuap, was warming up at half-time during a match Saturday when a member of staff handling a pitch roller lost control of the machine.
Townsend’s left leg got stuck underneath it but he was able to push the machine off him with some assistance and escaped injury.
