It’s easy to simply say Jalen Hurts stinks. Not like a smelly person or anything, but bad at football. Which is a bit of a lazy read. In recent years, he hasn’t exactly fit the mold of a traditional QB and could maybe fairly be called a tush-push merchant, but those labels massively overshadow one of the league’s more unique journeys.
In college at Alabama, Hurts was on an early path to becoming one of the best quarterbacks in a storied program… and then got replaced in the 2018 National Championship. Oddly, it turned out to be the best thing that ever happened to him.

The Los Angeles Rams closed out the 2026 preseason with a win over the Los Angeles Chargers on Thursday and can now look ahead to the regular season. Problem is, they still don’t know whether their eight-time All-Pro is coming out of retirement.
The Aaron Donald situation remains “up in the air” with less than two weeks until the Rams take on the San Francisco 49ers in Week 1, Sean McVay said Thursday, per Pro Football Talk.

“I think all of those things are up in the air,” McVay said.

Hello all! Fantasy football is back for yet another year! Can you believe it? The NFL has been given the go-ahead for another season! This plucky upstart of a league may just make it after all.

Raiders coach Klint Kubiak refused to name a regular-season starter after Thursday’s preseason finale, although his utilization hints at Kirk Cousins getting the call in Week 1.

Rams coach Sean McVay said the team acquired Tutu Atwell to add depth to the receiver room and had “nothing to do” with a possible suspension for Puka Nacua.

Remember the days when rookie tight ends took a year or two to get up to speed with the offense and contribute in fantasy football? Those days are over. Last season three rookie tight ends cracked the the fantasy tight end top 12. If the player is good and the situation is right, coaches are going to get them on the field.

The 2026 wide receiver draft class wasn’t filled with transcendent players, but that’s not going to stop us from grabbing some high upside rookies this year. In dynasty, I want my rookie running backs to get on the field quickly and show that they can be fantasy relevant sooner than later.

Only 13 cricketers in the history of Test cricket have made their debuts after turning 40. Two of them were Indians — Rustomji Jamshedji Dorabji Jamshedji and Cotar Ramaswami.
Jamshedji remains the oldest Indian to make his Test debut. He was 41 years and 27 days old when he played against England in Mumbai on December 15, 1933. Ramaswami, born on June 16, 1896, in Madras (now Chennai), made his Test debut aged 40 years and 39 days against England at Manchester on July 25, 1936.

The 2025 draft was not brimming at the seams with offensive talent that will quickly transition into big time fantasy football, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t quality running backs to be had from this group. Unfortunately, none of the top backs landed somewhere they’ll quickly be asked to be a bell-cow back.

Every week of the 2026 college football season, this article series will rank the slate’s games on a 1-10 upset scale, with 10 marking the game most likely to produce an upset and 1 marking the safest chalk on the board.
Week 0 features just eight games, so every matchup gets a number instead of a curated handful. In the coming weeks, about six or seven games will be covered. The upset watch scale weighs the matchup against roster continuity, injuries, and situational factors uncovered through research, not raw name recognition.
