What’s an Olympic event without fans?

Boston Celtics star Jaylen Brown makes roughly $50 million a year, but on Saturday, he learned that not even a fat NBA contract can exempt him from Beverly Hills city ordinances.
Brown, 29, attempted to host a cultural panel for his brand, 741, at a lavish mansion. 
The permit for his event was denied by authorities.

Still, the gathering — roughly 200 guests deep — was hosted anyway. And when the event was shut down, Brown didn’t exactly take it in stride.

Three people, including the suspect, were killed in a shooting Monday at a high school hockey game in Pawtucket, Rhode Island.
Three other shooting victims were hospitalized in critical condition, according to Pawtucket Police Chief Tina Goncalves. She did not divulge the nature of their injuries. Pawtucket is situated just north of Providence near the Massachusetts border.
Goncalves told reporters that officers were dispatched to Dennis M. Lynch Arena to respond to reports of the shooting just before 2:30 p.m. ET.

Ronnie Hickman was hospitalized early Monday morning after being assaulted at a New York City hotel, according to the Cleveland Browns.
“Safety Ronnie Hickman was a victim of assault early Monday morning at a New York City hotel,” the team said in a statement. “Ronnie was treated for minor injuries at an area hospital after the incident, was later released, and is home resting with his family.”
The Browns did not release additional details about the incident, and Hickman has not issued a public statement.
The alleged assault occurred around 4:30 a.m.

The southern club remained in 17th place but the win took it three points clear of the relegation zone. It was tied on points with the two clubs above it, Cremonese and Genoa.
After a goalless first half, the visitor was more clinical in a decisive second period.

Feb. 16 (UPI) — Team USA started slow, but attacked in the second period, obliterating Sweden to reach the 2026 Winter Olympics gold medal match Monday in Milan.
With the 5-0 shutout, the Americans also extended the longest shutout streak in Olympics history to 331:23 of on-action action, including five shutouts.
