Rushine De Reuck found the back of the net as Simba SC beat Tanzania Prisons 2-0 in the NBC Tanzanian Premier League on Sunday.
Selemani Mwalimu, who’s on loan from Moroccan giants Wydad Athletic Club, continued his rich vein of form in front of goal as he broke the deadlock in the 19th minute.

All good things must end and so Duke’s remarkable win-streak came to a close at Clemson as the Tigers won, 53-51.
The streak, which started on December 4th, grew to 17th before the Tigers broke it – not that it was easy.

The San Francisco 49ers lost cornerback Charvarius Ward in free agency last offseason, and while they added a couple of veterans and a rookie to try to replace him, their secondary was still lacking in 2025.
Heading into 2026, San Francisco is set to return their entire cornerback room, with Chase Lucas being the only restricted free agent of the group.
Still, the 49ers should be looking to add at cornerback this offseason, which is why Bleacher Report’s Alex Kay recently picked the team as the best fit for Tairq Woolen in free agency.

Desmond Bane scored 36 points and Paolo Banchero added 16 points and eight assists as the Orlando Magic held on for a 111-109 victory over the Clippers on Sunday night at Intuit Dome.
Wendell Carter Jr. had 15 points and 14 rebounds and Tristan da Silva scored 13 for the Magic, who improved to 5-2 since Feb. 5.

The Magic were already facing an uphill battle when they entered Sunday’s game against the Clippers inside Intuit Dome.
Not only was Orlando at a rest disadvantage playing on the second night of a back-to-back at Los Angeles, but Jamahl Mosley‘s squad was also without Franz Wagner (left high ankle sprain injury management) and Jalen Suggs (back spasms) for a second game in a row.

LeBron James hasn’t forgotten that one clip of Jaylen Brown.
The Los Angeles Lakers star was asked about his relationship with Brown on Sunday night, shortly after the team’s 111-89 loss to the Boston Celtics. While he didn’t have anything bad to say, he did reference a moment from a Summer League game a few years ago in which Brown was caught criticizing James’ eldest son, and current Lakers player, Bronny James.

“Our relationship has been pretty respectful,” James said. “Besides that s**t he said about Bronny at Summer League, but other than that, we’ve been alright.

SEATTLE (AP) — Paul Rothrock had a goal and an assist after replacing an injured Jordan Morris early in the first half and the Seattle Sounders beat the Colorado Rapids 2-0 in a rainy season opener on Sunday night.
Seattle lost Morris to a noncontact injury in the 8th minute and Rothrock had a hand in staking the Sounders to a 1-0 lead seven minutes later when he hustled to keep the ball in play, setting up a header by Albert Rusnák for a long nifty assist.
Hassani Dotson appeared to score three minutes later in his Sounders debut but had it waived off for a foul after a video review.

CHICAGO (AP) — Karl-Anthony Towns had 28 points and 11 rebounds for his NBA-leading 39th double-double and the New York Knicks outlasted the sliding Chicago Bulls 105-99 on Sunday night for their second straight victory.
Towns scored six straight points — on a 3-pointer, a layup and free throw — after Chicago took a 95-94 lead with 3:52 left in regulation on Matas Buzelis’ 3. Mikal Bridges hit another 3-pointer with 27 seconds left, and Jalen Brunson iced it with two free throws.

Led by veteran big man Al Horford, the Warriors raced to a 12-point advantage in the first quarter. Horford’s shot continued to fall in the second quarter, as the Warriors ended the first half scoring 76 points. Horford tallied 17 points with five made 3-pointers on six attempts from deep.

For those of you that are either unaware or are Canadian and in full denial at this point, the United States Men’s Olympic Hockey Team disposed of their neighbors to the north in a 2-1 overtime thriller on Sunday to capture their first gold medal since 1980.
I just wanted an excuse to post that video again.
Man, I will never get tired of seeing that!
Anyway, with the conclusion of the Winter Olympics upon us, the U.S. hockey team was set to depart from Milan on Sunday evening and end up back on American soil in New York City.

The G League’s OKC Blue mounted a double-digit comeback in their 114-107 win over the Stockton Kings on Sunday. The road victory improved their record to 8-16 in the regular season.
Early on, it looked like the Blue were on their way to another loss. They were in a 33-27 deficit after the first quarter. The Kings eventually ballooned their lead to 14 points at 55-41 with a little under three minutes to go in the first half. OKC had 25 points in the second frame. It entered the halftime break in a 61-52 hole.

Nebraska (3-3) continued the Amegy Bank College Baseball Series on Saturday night against Kansas State (5-1). Despite holding a 3-1 lead through five, the Huskers fell to the Wildcats 5-3.
Nebraska took the lead in the third, going up 2-1 following a two-RBI double from Joshua Overbeek. Jeter Worthley scored the Huskers’ third run on an error after Case Sanderson reached first on a fielder’s choice. Mac Moyer led Nebraska at the plate, hitting 2-for-3.

On Sunday afternoon at The Finn, Marquette women’s basketball gave up a 12-0 run to Villanova over about seven minutes of game time. That left the score at 14-2, and at the end of the period, it was 16-5 favoring the Wildcats.
One of two things was then going to happen:

Marquette punches back and it turns into a competitive game at some point and eventually one team or the other wins.
Marquette has no answer for anything from Villanova on this day and the Wildcats just hold them at arm’s length at best or blow them out at worst.

LOS ANGELES — Jacob Bridgeman was full of confidence when he walked off the course on Saturday night, a six-shot lead over perhaps the most popular golfer on the PGA Tour in hand. And for 15 holes on Sunday, that didn’t dwindle, either.
But when that bravado fell, it fell fast.
“I couldn’t even feel my hands on the last couple greens,” he said.

There’s almost never a situation where grown men should be handed a stuffed animal, and doing so two minutes after a gold medal hockey game is no exception.
On Sunday, Team USA defeated Team Canada 2-1 in overtime to clinch their first gold medal in 46 years. Both teams fought like rabid animals for just over 60 minutes, giving every fiber of their being to win the final medal event of the Winter Olympics.
But in a wild game, Jack Hughes provided the wildest moment of all.
