Urbig withdraws from Germany squad
The German FA have confirmed that Jonas Urbig has sustained a capsular injury in his right knee. The 22-year-old Bayern goalkeeper has therefore withdrawn from Germany’s squad for their friendlies against Switzerland and Ghana.

The MLB season has arrived, which means across this great nation, thousands of people will be fasting in preparation for the endurance test that is the 9-9-9 challenge: nine hot dogs, nine beers and nine innings.
Of course, MLB teams and concession companies have jumped on this bandwagon, offering kits to help fans take on the challenge, but many have seemingly missed the point by offering small hot dogs and thimbles of beer.

The Florida State Seminoles are looking for their first wide receiver commitment in the 2027 cycle, and they are a finalist for another target.
Three-star prospect Jordan Christie told Benjamin Wolk of 247Sports that he is down to the Seminoles, Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, Georgia Bulldogs, and Arkansas Razorbacks. The Ellenwood, Georgia native was previously committed to Georgia Tech, but backed off his commitment in December of 2025.

Tom Brady says he explored the idea of making a return to the NFL as a player but the league “don’t like that idea very much”.
Brady’s last NFL game came in a defeat to the Dallas Cowboys in January 2023. Since then he has become a part-owner of the Las Vegas Raiders as well as a television analyst for Fox. A spokesperson for the league said that Brady, who turns 49 in August, would need to divest his stake in the Raiders if he was to return to playing.

This season hasn’t exactly been going according to plan for the Florida Panthers.
After winning their second straight Stanley Cup in June of last year, the Panthers re-signed all of their top pending free agents, namely Sam Bennett, Aaron Ekblad, and Brad Marchand.

Raiders minority owner Tom Brady was interested enough in a potential comeback on the playing field to ask the NFL what the rules would be. The NFL reiterated that a player can’t also be an owner.
Brady told Alex Sherman of CNBC that when he looked into the rules, it was made clear to him that he can’t be an owner and a player at the same time.
“I actually have inquired, and they don’t like that idea very much,” Brady said. “We explored a lot of different things, and I’m very happily retired. Let me just say that, too.

The International Olympic Committee has officially made it clear that women’s Olympic sports will now be reserved for biological females.
In a major policy shift announced Thursday morning, the IOC approved a new “Policy on the Protection of the Female (Women’s) Category in Olympic Sport,” which will take effect beginning with the 2028 Los Angeles Games.
The new rules establish a standardized sex-testing process across all Olympic sports.

Spurs winger Vinberg signs new deal
Tottenham Hotspur winger Matilda Vinberg has signed a new long-term contract with the club.
WSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from The Lilywhites earlier today.
The 23-year-old Swedish international winger joined Spurs from OBOS Damallsvenskan club Hammarby IF back in the January 2024 transfer window. Vinberg has gone on to make well over 50 appearances for the North Londoners in all competitions. She was an Adobe Women’s FA Cup runner-up with the club in 2023/2024.
