Man City eye Dani Olmo as transfer market narrative intensifies
Manchester City’s transfer strategy has long been built on precision rather than impulse, yet the growing links to Dani Olmo hint at something more expansive. Merab Dvalishvili has broken his nose in two places but says he will refuse surgery until he retires from MMA.
The former UFC bantamweight champion has injured his nose numerous times in his career and says another “stupid accident” in sparring has caused further damage.

Emmanuel Fernandez scored on his first start for Nigeria [Getty Images]
Danny Rohl says Emmanuel Fernandez is a “role model” for Rangers’ player development strategy after the defender’s progress from Ibrox fringe player to Nigeria international.
The 24-year-old was plucked from England’s third tier when he moved from Peterborough to Rangers last summer on a four-year deal.
He started just one Premiership game between August and November amid a difficult start to his Ibrox career, but has since flourished, becoming a regular under Rohl.

The Mets were aggressive with their placement of Elian Peña this season, elevating him to Low-A to begin the year.
Peña enjoyed a strong spring after his stellar debut in the Dominican Summer League, and now he’s one of the youngest players at his new level at just 18.
That proved to be no problem on Thursday, as he started the season on a high note.
The young slugger was thrown right into the fire, batting leadoff for St. Lucie on Opening Day, and he made the most of the opportunity by reaching base three different times.
Beneil Dariush explains how Justin Gaethje can make things interesting against Ilia Topuria.
Interim champion Gaethje (27-5 MMA, 10-5 UFC) meets lightweight champ Topuria (17-0 MMA, 9-0 UFC) in a title-unification bout which headlines UFC Freedom 250 on June 14 in Washington.
Gaethje is a massive underdog against Topuria, who has knocked out current featherweight champ Alexander Volkanovski, former champ Max Holloway, and BMF champ Charles Oliveira in his past three fights. Dariush thinks Gaethje can use his unorthodox striking style to throw Topuria off.

Look, there are two sides to this Tiger Woods story.
On the one hand, you have to take it seriously because he could’ve hurt himself and, more importantly, someone else. He could’ve killed someone. That’s not a joke. I get that.
On the other hand … you do have to laugh. Not at the situation, of course, but at what the situation has provided us. And buddy, after the bodycam footage was released Thursday afternoon, the internet absolutely went WILD with the screenshots.
Renato Moicano is no stranger to spoiling parties.
In September 2024, Moicano stepped into enemy territory to take on fan-favorite brawler Benoit Saint-Denis in the main event of UFC Paris. Despite being the underdog, the Brazilian proved why he’s been a long-time fixture of the UFC lightweight rankings, putting away the Frenchman in by second-round TKO.
You can watch Moicano’s impressive win over Saint-Denis in the video above.

The debate is over: the most unhinged, radical left-wing person in sports media is Sarah Spain. As if that wasn’t already clear when the ESPNW contributor went on a tirade calling Vice President J.D. Vance a “demon” during the Winter Olympics, Spain decided to make it crystal clear on a recent episode of her podcast.
The episode, titled “Exclusion With a New Name”, sets the table right away.

Etienne chopped it up on The Jim Rome Show, where he was asked to highlight his favorite Saints players growing up in Louisiana.

At 38, Mignolet’s decision feels less like a sudden exit and more like the natural closing of a long, demanding chapter.

Real Madrid’s pursuit of Rodri has taken a step back in recent days, more specifically after the team’s win over Manchester City in the UEFA Champions League.

Now, Fabrizio Romano brings another report that further distances Rodri from Real Madrid, perhaps even sealing his future in England.

“My strike rate… I think I have one of the best strike-rates so far. People who are talking about me are probably not watching the game or they have certain agendas,” Rahane said.
