On the other hand, KKR’s struggles continued as they remain at the bottom of the standings.

Three-time Olympian Taylor Phinney is launching a cycling comeback — switching back to the track — in a bid to race at the LA28 Olympics, some 44 years after his parents won medals at the LA Games.
Phinney, a 35-year-old who retired in 2019, hopes to make the U.S. men’s team pursuit squad for LA28.

Well, you’d be wrong, because it turns out it happened to Hockey Hall of Famer Chris Pronger when he inked a five-year deal with the Edmonton Oilers.

Sherrone Moore’s legal saga ended Tuesday with no jail time. 
The former Michigan head coach was sentenced to 18 months of probation in Washtenaw County after pleading no contest to trespassing and maliciously using a phone to threaten, harass and intimidate his assistant.
Moore had faced up to six months behind bars, but Judge J. Cedric Simpson opted for probation, citing his lack of a prior criminal record.

Theuerkauf is another strong 3-point shooter and the first veteran added out of the portal for Tennessee. She shot 40.6% on 5.5 attempts from 3-point range last season, which was a significant increase from her 30.1% on 3.9 attempts as a sophomore.

Hugo Ekitike was stretchered off in an early blow to Liverpool’s bid to overturn their Champions League quarter-final tie with Paris Saint-Germain.
Ekitike went down off the ball holding his ankle after suffering a suspected Achilles injury and appeared in some agony.
Liverpool doctors were quick to signal to the bench that the Frenchman wouldn’t be able to continue and that he would require a stretcher to be taken off.
“Ekitike went to control the ball and he sort of slipped over. He looks to be in pain,” said Alan Shearer on Amazon Prime commentary.

The Los Angeles Dodgers made a minor trade April 14, acquiring international bonus pool money from the Philadelphia Phillies in exchange for pitcher Griff McGarry.
McGarry, 26, is a former top-100 prospect who had made five appearances this season for Triple-A Lehigh Valley. In four innings for the Phillies’ top farm team, he allowed four runs.
