When Tosh Lupoi left his post as defensive coordinator for the Oregon Ducks, part of the reason Chris Hampton was promoted to fill the role was to keep some consistency moving into 2026. That’s worked out well for the Ducks so far, bringing back arguably the best defensive line in the country and setting big expectations for the young secondary to improve off an already great 2025.

In a league that’s still not quite sure how to value running backs, Jeremiyah Love looks like a surefire top 10 pick at the 2026 NFL Draft anyway.
The Notre Dame star has emerged as one of the top prospects in the latest edition of pro football’s debutante ball. Love is so sought after that most teams haven’t even bothered to go to great lengths to court him, fully understanding he’ll likely be snapped up before the first round’s selections hit double digits. That’s an honor, but not one the All-American tailback is taking for granted.

LSU basketball landed its first transfer portal commitment of the year on Monday evening. Per On3’s Joe Tipton, Kentucky forward Mouhamed Dioubate will join Will Wade’s program in Baton Rouge.
Dioubate’s pledge kicks off what LSU hopes is an action-packed week of basketball transfer portal news. LSU hired Wade with the intention of building an SEC contender, but so far, LSU has been quiet in the portal, at least publicly. Dioubate is a good start as LSU gets a talented player with SEC experience.
In 2025-26, Dioubate averaged 8.8 points and 5.
