The Los Angeles Rams had every reason to win Monday Night Football’s matchup against the Miami Dolphins.
Instead, the Rams suffered what many called a ‘demoralizing loss’ at home, losing to the Fins, 23-15.
Stafford made the critical mistake of the night, down 20-9 with 6:46 in the fourth quarter, when he missed a wide-open Kyren Williams in the end zone.
The Rams’ mistakes, including the easily missed touchdown, proved too much to overcome.

DEMORALIZING LOSS for the Rams!
It’s been an ugly season for the Giants, and it’s only getting uglier. Plus, the Chargers are entering a gauntlet and the Steelers and Ravens are on a collision course.
After a lengthy career, waiting out his eligibility period, then 12 years of sitting by the phone, Boston-born Jeremy Roenick finally received his call for induction into the Hockey Hall of Fame, and during a Monday ceremony, he formally entered into it.

One guy who doesn’t need a head or neck injury is Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa.
Tagovailoa has returned to action after suffering another concussion early in the season. However, the Dolphins quarterback is still attempting head-first tackles on the primetime stage, seemingly always one bad hit away from an unfortunate concussion.

On Monday, Tagovailoa attempted a reckless tackle on a Rams player, and NFL fans on social media were shocked by Tua’s audacity.

The Cavs are forcing their way into NBA history with their undefeated start to the season.
LeBron James is long gone, but the Cleveland Cavaliers are once again looking like an NBA championship contender. The Cavs moved to 10-0 on the young season after blasting the Golden State Warriors on Friday night in a showdown of former rivals who have reinvented themselves to become elite once again. Cleveland is now the 14th team in league history to start a season with ten straight wins, and nothing about it feels like a fluke.

The Cleveland Browns are so bad, their players are voluntarily pulling themselves from games.
Case in point, former first round pick-turned-bust, Jedrick Wills Jr., who had been the team’s starting left tackle for most of the last five years. Wills admitted to pulling himself from the lineup on October 27 when the Browns hosted division rival Baltimore.
After aggravating a previous knee injury against Cincinnati the week prior to Cleveland’s tilt with the Ravens, Wills took it upon himself to ride the pine.
“I mean, I decided myself.

There were few surprises among the finalists for MLB’s end-of-season awards, led by Shohei Ohtani, Aaron Judge and Paul Skenes.
Tampa Bay Rays shortstop Wander Franco was arrested in the Dominican Republic on Sunday after police responded to an altercation involving firearms, which involved Franco, a woman, and another man in a parking lot.
In his latest bit of headline trouble, Franco began arguing with another man over the same woman before the men allegedly drew firearms.
Two guns were recovered at the scene in San Juan de la Maguana, though the D.R. policeman’s statement did not explicitly state whether one of them belonged to Franco. No details were provided on potential injuries.

The New York Giants head into their Week 11 bye at 2-8, last in the NFC East. They have some soul-searching to do, and it seems likely the first move is to bench starting quarterback Daniel Jones.
Take a look at this post from Adam Schefter, who I believe is hinting that he knows more than he is saying:
As we know, Schefter has sources across the NFL and, generally, they have a reason to give him certain information. In this case, it seems the team wants people to know they have a plan when it comes to the quarterback position.

Mina Kimes thinks that the NFL is in pretty good shape right now, but Scott Van Pelt would disagree.
Earlier today, Kimes responded to a tweet from a fan who said that the NFL as a whole was in a state of emergency because so many teams are bad. Kimes provided a counterpoint, saying that there have been more one-score games at the midway point of this season than any prior year.
While that was a good point, Van Pelt argued against her stance rather effectively.
