There were only two teams that traded out of the first round on Thursday night and they came in consecutive spots. The Houston Texans traded down with the New York Giants from No. 25 to 34, moving out of the spot just before the Los Angeles Rams went on the clock. One pick later, the Rams also bailed, trading all the way down to No. 46 in a deal with the Atlanta Falcons.

It’s time for the 2025 NFL Draft! Round 1 of the draft took place on Thursday, April 24, seeing some of the best college football players determine their professional futures next season. Miami QB Cam Ward became the No. 1 draft pick when he was selected by the Tennessee Titans, Travis Hunter will head to the Jacksonville Jaguars as part of a jaw-dropping trade with the Cleveland Browns, and, perhaps most surprisingly, Colorado’s Shedeur Sanders was shut out of the first-round selections. The Florida football program saw the departure of defensive lineman D’Antre Robinson to the NCAA transfer portal on Thursday. An already thin DL room just got a bit slimmer with the projected second-teamer seeking greener pastures.
