The Yankees welcomed old friend Nestor Cortés to Yankee Stadium by taking him deep more than once in the first
The New York Yankees traded pitcher Nestor Cortés Jr. to the Milwaukee Brewers in December, after Cortés spent four seasons in the Big Apple in his third stint with the club.
As luck would have it, Cortés was on the bump in Yankee Stadium to make his first start of 2025 with his new team.
His former club did not exactly roll out the welcome mat for him.

The USC Trojans women’s basketball team lost Juju Watkins for the year, but head coach Linsdey Gottlieb is not holding any grudges because of it.
On Monday, the Trojans were facing off against the Mississippi State Bulldogs in Los Angeles, CA in the Round of 32 of the women’s basketball tournament. In the first quarter, she was driving to the hoop in transition when Bulldogs guard Chandler Prater closed in to defend her. Prater collided minimally with Watkins, but it was enough to send the USC sensation to the ground in pain.

No one was saying it anyways, but let it never be said Olivia Miles isn’t tough.
Notre Dame’s star guard, the other half of one of the best backcourts in the country alongside Hannah Hidalgo, has been playing through a sprained ankle she suffered in the first round of the women’s NCAA Tournament against Stephen F. Austin. She will continue to do so against TCU Saturday.
The good news for Notre Dame fans, however, is Miles seems to be on the upswing.

Michigan football had an impressive recruiting class in 2025, headlined (of course) by the No. 1 player in the country in quarterback Bryce Underwood.
But the class wasn’t impressive just because of Underwood. There were multiple other top targets that the Wolverines managed to land.
Among them was former Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy four-star linebacker Nathaniel Owusu-Boateng. Owusu-Boateng chose Michigan despite Notre Dame making a big push, which is where his brother played.
