In 2024, The Athletics OF/DH Brent Rooker had an outstanding season.

Look, I know it’s low-hanging fruit to pick on the Miami Marlins, but I don’t care. They should be the Florida Marlins. They should still have the old logo. And, they should play in a football stadium. 
Those are the Marlins I grew up with. Until those FLORIDA Marlins return, I don’t mind mocking the organization. 
Here’s the deal … they’re awful. Truly, truly awful. Their record may say 5-6 right now, but don’t be fooled. This is a team that will most likely lose 100 games this season. Maybe a little more. Maybe a little less.

The ongoing legal saga between quarterback Jaden Rashada, Florida head coach Billy Napier, and Gators booster Hugh Hathcock will proceed into the discovery phase.
A ruling from Judge M. Casey Rodgers of the U.S. District Court for Northern Florida on Tuesday evening regarding a motion from the defendants to dismiss the case was partially granted, which says that Jaden Rashada’s claim of tortuous interference has been dismissed. 
But, the Gators head coach, along with the former director of NIL strategy, did not have their motions granted to dismiss other claims.

The Seattle Seahawks are entering the 2025 NFL draft with multiple needs across their offensive line, particularly inside at center and both guard spots. As currently constructed, the Seahawks are without a starter at left guard after 2024 starter Laken Tomlinson left in free agency. The current plan at center is Olu Oluwatimi or Jalen Sundell, and a slew of young blockers, Anthony Bradford, Christian Haynes, and Sataoa Laumea, are present at right guard.
It would behoove Seahawks general manager John Schneider if the 2025 NFL draft featured a deep class of interior offensive linemen.

The Georgia Bulldogs lost out on a major edge rusher recruit. Four-star edge Ebenezer Ewetade announced he’s committing to play for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
Ewetade is a four-star edge rusher from the class of 2026. The 6-foot-4, 221-pound edge plays high school football and track and field for South Garner High School in Garner, North Carolina.
Georgia offered Ewetade on Jan. 10, 2025, and the Bulldogs made his list of top five schools, along with Florida State, Alabama, NC State, and Notre Dame.
