NFL fans won’t have to wait long to see the Super Bowl LIX rematch.
The Eagles-Chiefs game has been put on the Week Two schedule, for a 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff on Sunday, September 14, on Fox.
The game will be played in Kansas City, where the home fans will hope to see the Chiefs get a measure of revenge for the 40-22 drubbing the Eagles handed them in February.
Both the Eagles and Chiefs will get extra-long work weeks to prepare for the game because they play the first two games of the season in Week One.

The National Women’s Soccer League said Wednesday it is looking at its protocols surrounding player safety following the collapse of Angel City defender Savy King during a match in Los Angeles.
There were questions about why Friday night’s game between Angel City and the Utah Royals was continued after King collapsed on the field in the 74th minute and was rushed to the hospital.
Doctors evaluating King at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center discovered a heart abnormality and she underwent surgery Tuesday. The team and her family said she was recovering and her prognosis is good.

Colorado enters play Wednesday an astonishing 7-35. A woeful, miraculous .167 winning percentage. Over the course of a 162-game season, that translates to 27 wins and 135 losses. The most losses ever? The 1899 Cleveland Spiders with 134.
Golden State Warriors enforcer Draymond Green was fined $50,000 by the NBA after a video online showed him encouraging his sideline to score in the final moments of Game 3 against the Minnesota Timberwolves, knowing it’d have sports betting implications.
