Moments before the first bell rings sometime after 10.30pm at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday, Conor Benn will scowl at Chris Eubank Jr. Over Benn’s shoulder will be his father Nigel, once a devil in the ring, now his son’s guardian angel. Across the canvas, Eubank Jr may glare back at the younger Benn, or he might opt for a smirk. He knows, after all, how to wind up his rival. But in Eubank Jr’s corner, the picture will be incomplete.
Eubank Sr will not be there to support his son.

Let’s take half a step back and think, just for a second, about how absurd the NFL Draft hype really is. We’ll spend three days watching guys walk across a stage, and another two months in each direction pondering What It All Means. There’s not even any actual football here, and there won’t be for another four months! Friends, we are watching a splashy, flashy job fair! That’s it!
Now, let’s take a full step forward and plunge right back into the glorious spectacle of the NFL Draft.

Day 2, and specifically the second round, has been a sweet spot for the New Orleans Saints when picking defensive backs. Since Jeff Ireland joined the staff for the 2015 NFL draft, the Saints have drafted a defensive back six times in Rounds 2 and 3 on Day 2. All of those players became eventual starters.
Players such as Paulson Adebo and Marcus Williams were Day 1 starters. Kool-Aid McKinstry and Alontae Taylor are second round picks who will be starting this year, but the Saints need a cornerback opposite of McKinstry.
The New York Giants hold the third overall pick in the 2025 NFL draft on Thursday night in Green Bay and it’s still very much a mystery who they will take.
Of course, much depends on what the Tennessee Titans and Cleveland Browns, the two teams drafting in front of them, do. But if tradition holds, they will take the best available player on the board.
That is also what former Giants head coach Tom Coughlin, a three-time Super Bowl winner, said in a recent interview on The Pat McAfee Show.
