For months, Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders was considered a favorite to land with the New York Giants at No. 3 overall in the 2025 NFL draft.
That did not happen.
The Giants selected Penn State edge rusher Abdul Carter with their first pick before trading back up into Round 1 where they took Ole Miss quarterback Jaxson Dart, effectively ending any lingering speculation about Sanders.
But the Giants weren’t the only team to pass on Deion’s son. All 32 NFL teams did… multiple times.
Through two days and three rounds of the draft, Sanders has not heard his name called.

Though Shedeur Sanders now appears to need a Hail Mary in order to be drafted by an NFL team, the quarterback isn’t shying away from thanking God for any opportunity that awaits.
The quarterback, whom most assumed would be a first round selection, remains team-less after three rounds and 102 player selections. 
But as Sanders’ X account would seem to indicate, the Draft slide is all part of God’s plan.

A new video shows Jerry Jones appearing to bust out his buddy President Donald Trump’s famous dance during the second night of the NFL Draft on Friday.
Either that, or the 82-year-old Dallas Cowboys owner had to fart.
After the Cowboys and Jones selected cornerback Shavon Revel with the No. 77 pick during the Draft’s third round, NFL Network cameras panned over to Dallas’ ‘war room’ and caught good ol’ Jerry doing what appeared to be Trump’s famous dance where he puts both hands up in the air and shifts back and forth.

With two days down, there’s only one day remaining in the 2025 NFL Draft. Tomorrow, we’ll run through rounds 4 through 7 and finish the biggest event on the NFL’s offseason calendar. Day two gave fans, including Vikings fans, plenty of excitement and big storylines. The biggest storyline, of course, is the fact that former Colorado Buffaloes quarterback Shedeur Sanders is still on the board, after being talked about as a potential first-round pick.
