The Atlanta Falcons have made trades on the first two days of the 2025 NFL draft, moving up for Tennessee edge James Pearce in Round 1 and trading up for Notre Dame safety Xavier Watts in Round 3. Now that Day 3 of the draft has arrived, the Falcons have two picks remaining.
The Falcons have a fourth-round pick (No. 118) and a seventh-round pick (No. 218). The team gave up its additional seventh-round pick on Day 1 in the trade for Pearce. Day 3 of the 2025 NFL draft, which runs from Rounds 4-7, begins at noon ET on NFL Network and ESPN.

After quarterback Shedeur Sanders wasn’t drafted in round one, most thought he would be drafted in round two. After he wasn’t drafted in round three, most think he’ll go in round four.
If that happens, where are the hot spots?
The first one that stands out is the Raiders, at the sixth pick (No. 108). They did their homework on Shedeur, and they need a long-term answer at the position.
Then there’s minority owner/majority influence Tom Brady’s relationship with Shedeur.

BERLIN (AP) — Bayer Leverkusen postponed Bayern Munich’s Bundesliga title celebrations on Saturday, leaving the Bavarian powerhouse on the verge of winning the trophy without top-scorer Harry Kane.
Kane was shown his fifth yellow card of the season during Bayern’s 3-0 win at home over Mainz, meaning the England captain will be suspended for Bayern’s next match at Leipzig — where Bayern will likely win its 34th German league title.

“Draft for need”? Never!
But …
Dallas entered this 2025 NFL Draft with an acknowledged need at running back. … and has been the case for the last couple of years, “the best-laid plans” …
Haven’t landed them one.
Through the first three rounds, the Cowboys have yet to select a back.
This doesn’t mean there is anything flaws about the three guys they did draft. Nor does it mean there is anything flawed about the Dallas system.
