Earlier this month, Charles Barkley slammed ESPN for “always talking about the same stuff” — namely, the network’s obsession with LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers. According to former ESPN host Michelle Beadle, he has a point.
Barkley specifically called out Kendrick Perkins, calling him “an idiot and a fool” after Perkins credited the LeBron- and Luka Doncic-led Lakers team for “saving the NBA.”
“First of all, on the Lakers, they had a great two weeks,” Barkley said.

In what’s become a storyline as the season has progressed, add Detroit Pistons‘ JB Bickerstaff to the growing list of opposing NBA head coaches with steam coming out of their ears playing against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
After the Thunder’s 113-107 win over the Pistons, Bickerstaff’s postgame interview only lasted one question. He utilized his platform to rant about the officials, crumbled his box score, pounded his fist on the table and stormed off.
Talk about a flair for the dramatic. Being an NBA head coach requires a prerequisite of being theatrical.

The Auburn Tigers dropped their third game in the last four on Saturday with a 70-65 loss to Tennessee in the SEC Tournament semifinals. The Tigers lead 33-32 at halftime, but the Volunteers went on a second half run to eventually lead 60-49 after a Zakai Zeigler three-pointer. A Chad Baker-Mazara layup with 1:16 remaining made the score 68-65, but Auburn could not get find anymore points.
Tennessee went into this tournament wanting to show why they should be a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament while reports show that Auburn is still the frontrunner to land the No. 1 overall seed.

Liverpool head coach Arne Slot has explained his decision to start goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher ahead of Alisson for the Carabao Cup final against Newcastle United.
The 26-year-old Irishman will start in his third Carabao Cup final in a row for Liverpool after starring in the Reds’ previous two victories at Wembley in this competition in 2022 and 2024.
Kelleher has played in every Carabao Cup round for Liverpool this season, barring the semi-final first leg defeat at Tottenham, and was impressive earlier in the campaign when first-choice keeper Alisson was injured.

Grand Canyon women’s basketball coach Molly Miller.
The Lopes punched a ticket to the women’s NCAA Tournament with a 65-62 win over UT-Arlington in the WAC title game Saturday.
Admittedly, I had no idea Grand Canyon had a women’s basketball team or who Molly Miller is until Sunday morning. Turns out I wasn’t alone.
The team shared a video of Miller getting an ice bath in the locker room while celebrating the NCAA Tournament bid.
It took no time at all to take off like a rocket, and has more than 1.2 million views as of publication.
