With a minute left in the first half of what shaped up as a season-defining showdown at No. 5 North Carolina, the two-time defending national champions in college men’s lacrosse looked like a team in the midst of a rebuild.
And then Chris Kavanagh, the Most Outstanding Player of last year’s NCAA Tournament, lit a fire under No. 9 Notre Dame in a stunning rally Saturday at Chapel Hall, N.C.
The 2025 NBA playoffs tipped off on Saturday with four games pitting the No. 3 versus No. 6 seeds and No. 4 against No. 5 in each conference.

The Philadelphia 76ers are sitting out the 2025 playoffs after an injury-riddled disaster led to a 24-58 record. The Sixers only saw superstar big man Joel Embiid only play 19 games and their star trio of Embiid, Paul George, and Tyrese Maxey only played 18 games together–finishing 15 of them.
With that being said, now is the time to check on some former Sixers in this current postseason. TJ McConnell started his postseason run on Saturday as the Indiana Pacers took on the Milwaukee Bucks in Game 1 of Round 1.

While many already have Notre Dame football’s rivalry game against USC circled on their calendar, Saturday gave many of us even more hatred towards the Trojans.
Earlier in the offseason, one of the Irish’s biggest rivals stole away general manager Chad Bowen, and now safety Kennedy Urlacher will join him in Los Angeles. The two teams have consistently battled against each other on-and-off the field, and that once again happened.
Urlacher has plenty of potential, but couldn’t crack the rotation for the Irish during the spring which most likely led to him deciding to leave the program.
