Major League Baseball and its MLBTV app had ONE JOB for Opening Day, and blew it entirely.
All across social media on Thursday afternoon, baseball fans who had been waiting months, or like me, a couple of days since my NCAA March Madness bracket was busted, for the start of baseball season, quickly found themselves game-less when they clicked their MLBTV app as not one of the streams was working!
We’re talking about people that both used a free trial or paid the full $160 for the season – nobody was seeing any baseball.

West Virginia begins a three-game series on the road on Thursday night as the Mountaineers face BYU.
While all Big 12 series are important, it’s even more vital the Mountaineers get a win after dropping two of three to Arizona last week. However, WVU’s depth will certainly be tested as injuries are starting to take their toll.
For most of the season thus far, WVU’s batting lineup has been steady at the top with Brodie Kresser leading off, Logan Sauve batting second, and Sam White batting third.
NEW YORK — Longtime CBS Sports college football analyst Gary Danielson will retire after the 2025 season.
That will be his 36th season on television, making him the longest-tenured college football analyst on any network.
“I have discussed the timing of this moment with CBS Sports leadership over the past few years and we felt it was important I remained with the team during our transition to the Big Ten. As we enter our second full season of Big Ten football and my 20th at CBS Sports, the timing just feels right,” Danielson said Wednesday in a statement.
