Counsell grew up near Milwaukee and spent parts of 18 years with the organization in various roles. But fans weren’t going to let him off the hook when he joined the rival Cubs.
Craig Counsell played 16 seasons in Major League Baseball, including two stints with the Milwaukee Brewers, and he retired with the Brewers in 2011. Counsell joined the Brewers front office immediately following his retirement and eventually became the team’s manager in 2015.
He spent the next nine seasons managing Milwaukee, reaching the playoffs in five of his final six seasons. Though the Brewers reached the postseason five times and won three NL Central crowns, they won just one playoff series.

Pacers star Tyrese Haliburton has been ruled out for Game 4 vs. the Celtics with another hamstring strain.
Tyrese Haliburton exited the Indiana Pacersโ Game 2 loss to the Boston Celtics with at least his second hamstring injury of the season, and there is now increasing doubt as to whether or not he will be able to return at all during the NBA Playoffs.
UPDATE (5/27) โ The Pacers officially declared Haliburton out for Game 4.
