Eric Bieniemy was introduced Thursday as the new offensive coordinator of the Commanders.
Bieniemy impressed in his introductory press conference, where he answered a multitude of tough questions. His answers included one particularly strong response regarding LeSean McCoy’s critical comments of him.
After Bieniemy made a terrific first impression with the Washington media, Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes took to Twitter to support Bieniemy.

Mercedes finished the day believing that the W14, their 2023 challenger, had helped the team overcome their aerodynamic issues from 2022.

Former NFL wide receiver Chad Johnson told Shannon Sharpe’s Club Shay Shay show that he lived at the Bengals’ stadium when he first entered the league to save money.
“As a rookie coming into the league, I stayed at the stadium my first two years because there was no point in spending money and wasting money when everything I need is already there,” Johnson told Sharpe.

Damian Lillard and the Trailblazers had to wait an extra day to travel for their return from the NBA All-Star break. Their flight out of Oregon on Wednesday night was cancelled due to weather.
Portland recorded 10.8 inches of snow, which was the second-highest single-day total ever recorded in the city.

The former running back said the new Commanders offensive coordinator had ’nothing to do with the pass game at all’ while with the Chiefs.
The Commanders introduced new offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy on Thursday and he addressed the scathing criticism he received from LeSean McCoy upon getting the new job. 
Bieniemy coached McCoy when he was the Chiefs’ offensive coordinator. On Monday, he said Bieniemy “has nothing to do with the pass game at all” and he “has no real responsibility” when coaching players in Kansas City.
