The No. 4 Bruins weren’t projected as one of the four top seeds for next month’s NCAA tournament.
UCLA coach Mick Cronin wasn’t exactly thrilled with the NCAA Division I men’s basketball committee’s tournament bracket preview seedings on Saturday.
The Bruins, ranked No. 4 in the nation, were not projected as one of the four No. 1 seeds for this year’s NCAA tournament. Instead, the committee placed UCLA as the eighth overall seed.
No. 1 Alabama, No. 2 Houston, No. 3 Purdue and No. 5 Kansas were identified as the projected top seeds.

Michigan players have a new necklace to rock after beating Ohio State this past season.
The Wolverines marched into Columbus Thanksgiving weekend and smashed the Buckeyes 45-23. It was the second straight win for Jim Harbaugh’s squad, and now, the program has unveiled the latest necklace to commemorate the game.

At one point, Charles Barkley and Michael Jordan were the closest of friends.
