High school football is in full swing around the country and one game in Tennessee ended under some wild circumstances. Alcoa and Bearden squared off on Friday night in a heated game that saw players sit in the dark, with just under a minute to play.
It all went down just outside of Knoxville on Friday evening in Alcoa, as both teams battled for four quarters, leading to a dramatic finish.
Bearden trailed 17-13 late in the fourth quarter of the rivalry game, with a chance to win it on the final drive. Both teams battled all night, leading to this intense finish.

On this glorious Saturday, millions of fans will unite to celebrate the start of the season with Week Zero. Yes, it’s Week Zero. That’s what it’s called. You can argue about it if you want, but there’s no changing it.
Week Zero is here and depending on when you’re reading this, I’m either a couple beers in or we might have put a hell of a dent into the first case of the season.

Former Seahawks All-Pro cornerback Richard Sherman showed off his throwing arm on Saturday, tossing out the ceremonial first pitch on Friday night prior to the Mariners taking on the Royals at Safeco Field.
Sherman is a Seattle sports legend in his own right—the five-time Pro Bowler led one of the league’s most fearsome defenses of the 2010s, winning one Super Bowl with the Seahawks.
