Indiana football coach Tom Allen is taking depth chart secrecy to a new level this week ahead of the team’s Week 1 matchup with Ohio State on Saturday.
When meeting with reporters Monday, Allen announced that the team has made a decision on its starting kicker for the game, but wouldn’t reveal it until kick-off Saturday against the Buckeyes. Hiding the choice at quarterback for a slight competitive advantage is one thing, but making Ohio State prepare for multiple kickers (as much as one can prepare for a kicker) is a new one.
There is no shortage of NBA franchises striving to build super teams, players seeking max-level contracts or sitting out games due to load management.

On the men’s side, are we heading for another epic showdown between Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic? It would seem that way, given their Final in Wimbledon and their recent thriller at the Cincinnati Open. But before they meet again, they’ll have to work their way through a deep and talented field.
The Indianapolis Colts have so far declined multiple trade offers for disgruntled running back Jonathan Taylor because they have not included a first-round pick, a source familiar with one of the offers told OutKick on Monday.
So the saga between the Colts, Taylor, his agent, the teams interested in Taylor, running backs around the league, and even fantasy football draftniks, has reached the homestretch and is turning for home with a Tuesday deadline approaching.
The Colts have talked to a handful of teams interested in Taylor since the player was given permission to seek a trade.
During a Tuesday episode of ESPN’s First Take, Stephen A. Smith said that his sources told him Lonzo Ball struggles to “get up from the sitting position” due to the knee injuries that have continued to hamper him during his career. Upon seeing this, the Bulls guard decided to publicly call out Smith and posted a video of himself easily standing up from a chair on just one leg, saying, “Stephen A.
