A cringy moment for Draymond Green was anything but for NBA Twitter on Sunday when fans poked fun at the Warriors star for falling prey to an illegal move he knows all too well.
Green’s unfortunate mishap occurred during the Warriors’ matchup against the Cavaliers in Cleveland when the forward took an errant kick to the groin from Cavs center Jarrett Allen as the two battled for a rebound.
Naturally, the shot immediately sent Green to the ground in pain. Such a scene would lead to sympathy from most people.

Week 9 was dubbed by many as the best week on the 2023 NFL schedule because of the marquee matchups between winning teams.
But not many expected Vikings vs. Falcons and Texans vs. Buccaneers to be two of the most entertaining games of the Sunday slate. NFL RedZone host Scott Hanson had a tough time keeping tabs on the shootout between C.J. Stroud and Baker Mayfield in Houston, while Joshua Dobbs was in the midst of a comeback performance in Atlanta less than a week after being traded by the Cardinals.
The NFL only has a few marquee rivalries, but this Sunday afternoon reminded us the Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys matchup is the best one.
Today’s game had it all. Fierce intensity, players fighting through injury, highlight reel catches, momentum swings, and incredible drama.
It started in the first quarter, when Cowboys receiver Kavonte Turpin left the game because of a rib injury. You don’t need to be a doctor to know that’s a painful injury to deal with, but Turpin didn’t care.
This is Cowboys-Eagles, you gotta fight through the pain. And that’s exactly what he did.
The NFL is a better when the Raiders are relevant and with Antonio Pierce winning his debut as the team’s interim coach, the Raiders are relevant now.
Clearly energized by the replacement of former coach Josh McDaniels with Pierce, the Raiders easily overmatched the visiting New York Giants on Sunday afternoon.
The score was 30-6 but this game wasn’t really as close as the score. The Raiders took a 27-0 lead and never seemed threatened in the second half as they cruised to a victory.
“Just getting back to being ourselves,” Pierce said afterward.
Ex-Pittsburgh Steelers wideout Martavis Bryant seeks an NFL comeback now that he’s been reinstated in the league after a five-year absence. Bryant’s reinstation became official Saturday, according to multiple reports.
On Sunday, NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reported that Bryant had been officially reinstated. He previously violated the league’s policy on substance abuse, demanding an Indefinite suspension. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell lifted the suspension Saturday.
Pelissero noted that NFL teams are interested in signing the former NFL wideout.
Here’s an early look at the fantasy players you’ll be targeting off the waiver wire this week. None of these players are rostered in more than 50% of Yahoo! leagues. The actual Yahoo! ownership percentage is included in parentheses. Players are listed from the most owned to the least owned after Sunday’s games. Be sure to check out Jen Piacenti’s expanded list of waiver-wire players every Tuesday!
Tank Dell, WR, Texans (47%)
Dell got cut in some fantasy leagues after getting hurt and failing to score double digits in three straight games.
Jorge Martin uncovers three players who had big games in Week 9 and have been great discoveries for fantasy managers.
In the 2023 NFL Draft, the Carolina Panthers selected Alabama quarterback Bryce Young with the No. 1 pick. The Houston Texans, picking second, drafted Ohio State signal-caller C.J. Stroud.
After one half of their first NFL seasons, everyone seems ready to say that the Texans got the better quarterback. I’m not ready to go that far yet (it’s been ONE HALF OF ONE SEASON), but clearly Stroud is having a better rookie season.
C.J. Stroud of the Houston Texans celebrates after a score against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
The Cowboys and Eagles went down to the wire during Week 9’s clash, but Dallas came up short in its last-drive effort, losing out 28–23.
The Cowboys found themselves with a great chance to score during the final drive of the game, bolstered by some costly mistakes by Philadelphia’s defense but ultimately, Mike McCarthy’s decision-making ended up costing the team.
Dallas had the ball at the six-yard line with 27 seconds left on the clock before the offense imploded.
