TCU fans are probably regretting the words they shared prior to losing to Colorado and Travis Hunter this past Saturday.
Despite being a massive underdog, Colorado looked incredible, especially on offense, against the Horned Frogs and won 45-42.
It felt like it was Deion Sanders, Shedeur Sanders and Hunter officially kicking down the door and letting the college football world know they’re here.

Anyone who watched that game and said it wasn’t incredible is lying.

Deion Sanders’s first game leading the Colorado Buffaloes resulted in a major win on Saturday over TCU, and one player that stood out on the field was cornerback/wide receiver Travis Hunter.
While speaking on FS1’s Undisputed on Monday, Sanders continued to speak extremely highly of the former 2022 No. 1 prospect. In fact, “Coach Prime” views Hunter as the No. 1 draft pick in 2025.
“This kid is a first-rounder on both sides of the ball, like first pick,” Sanders said. “He is the first pick. That’s who he is. Travis is—and he loves the game.

The Jets are arguably the most highly anticipated team of the 2023 NFL season. Yes, Aaron Rodgers is the main attraction, but he’s not the only huge addition made to the offense.
Former Vikings tailback Dalvin Cook was brought into the fold and Breece Hall is set to make his return to the team after the running back’s 2022 season was cut short due to a devastating knee injury in Week 7. Ahead of the season-opener on Monday, coach Robert Saleh addressed how he planned to use the backfield duo.

College football week one — which is still not complete — should be an incredible event each year. It’s the one week when college football doesn’t compete with the NFL. As a result, there should be must see games from Thursday to Monday, one monster contest after another. But at least this year, that wasn’t the case. And that’s a failure of the larger college football ecosystem.
Given that we are moving to a 12 team playoff next year, I hope there will be greater attention paid to the quality of the match-ups early in the year.

Dutch professional golfer Anne van Dam suffered an all-time bad break – in the most literal sense possible – just minutes before competing in a playoff at the KPMG Women’s Irish Open on Sunday.
Van Dam carded a one-under 71 in the final round on Sunday to get into a three-person playoff for the title on the Ladies European Tour. Each of the three players jumped into a golf cart to get a ride to the Par 5 18th tee for the first playoff hole, but unfortunately, van Dam became a victim of a gallery rope.

There haven’t been many stories like Brock Purdy’s 2022 season. The 49ers rookie entered the year as a third-string quarterback after being selected in the seventh round of the NFL draft and by season’s end, he was leading the team in the NFC championship.
Purdy burst onto the season after both Trey Lance and Jimmy Garoppolo went down with injuries and went on to win every game he played in before the loss to the Eagles, finishing with a 7–1 record as a starter including the playoffs.
