Colorado QB Shedeur Sanders might be on the verge of a huge payday.
The dual-threat QB has absolutely balled out through his first three games with the Colorado Buffaloes, and the eyes of the football world are on Boulder.
Deion said during an exchange with his sons at the Broncos game over the weekend that Shedeur won’t be going pro at the end of the season. He’ll be in Boulder for at least one more year.
One of the reasons why staying in school might not be a big deal is because players can now cash in with NIL.

Raiders WR Davante Adams, who took a hit to the left side of his helmet from the Bills’ Taylor Rapp on Sunday, was critical of Rapp on Wednesday.
It’s time to start setting your DFS lineups for Week 3!
Sunday’s slate is a little shorter with two games again on Monday Night Football. It’s worth mentioning that the highest game total of the week is Chargers vs. Vikings, which is set all the way up at 54.5 according to SI Sportsbook. The Broncos vs. Dolphins (48.5) and Chicago vs. Kansas City (47.5) come in with the next-highest. We will be fading most players in the Jets vs. Patriots and the Titans vs. Browns games, which have the lowest game totals of the week.
Upon further review, the NFL has acknowledged that a roughing the passer call made in Week 2’s Jets–Cowboys matchup was incorrect.
The penalty in question was called during the second quarter on a play by Jets defensive end John Franklin-Myers. On third-and-7 from the Jets’ 11-yard line, Dallas quarterback Dak Prescott threw an incompletion. But Franklin-Myers was flagged for a late hit, resulting in a first down. The Cowboys eventually scored a touchdown on the drive.
Two weeks in and plenty of movement.
The NFL quarterback rankings entering Week 3 have seen some rising and falling. Among the bigger risers are the Buccaneers’ Baker Mayfield and Daniel Jones of the Giants, who moved up eight and six spots, respectively.
As for the tougher performances, we see the Bears’ Justin Fields dropping eight spots after consecutive duds to start the campaign, while Jimmy Garoppolo and Derek Carr are also shuffling backwards.
Magic happens at college campuses across the country on Saturdays throughout the fall, but this one is set up to be extra special. There are six games on the schedule between top-25 teams this weekend. Compare that to the previous week when there were none.
There’s No. 19 Colorado vs. No. 10 Oregon, No. 22 UCLA against No. 11 Utah, No. 15 Ole Miss takes on No. 13 Alabama, No. 24 Iowa plays No. 7 Penn State, No. 6 Ohio State draws No. 9 Notre Dame and No. 14 Oregon State is up against No. 21 Washington State. No.
Things ended poorly between Derek Carr and the Las Vegas Raiders. After the team benched him late last season and Carr publically shared his frustrations, the Raiders released him in February. Despite the ugly breakup after spending nine seasons with the franchise, the veteran QB is taking the high road in the situation.
Justin Fields has gotten off to a rough start so far in his third NFL season, and things won’t likely get any easier for the Bears QB this week when he leads his 0-2 team into Kansas City to face Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs.
While Fields addressed his struggles on Wednesday and spoke about a new mindset he’s going to take heading into Week 3, he might want to listen to what Mahomes said about him when reporters asked the two-time Super Bowl champ about Fields’s early struggles this season.
Buffalo safety Taylor Rapp tried to take wide receiver Davante Adams‘ head off with a helmet-to-helmet hit near the end of Sunday’s matchup between the Bills and Las Vegas Raiders.
Adams, who was evaluated for a concussion after the hit from Rapp, gave his blunt thoughts on the ‘dirty’ hit while speaking with the media on Wednesday.
The perennial Pro Bowler was fired up.

It’s Week 3! Some of the top teams in the league are favored by double digits (Cowboys, Chiefs, 49ers) or close to it (Jaguars). The games expected to be most competitive include some of the NFC’s seven undefeated teams. Two of those teams are underdogs on the road: the Falcons in Detroit and the Saints in Green Bay. The only battle between unbeatens will take place in Philadelphia, where the Eagles will face the Buccaneers on Monday night.
On the other end of the spectrum, the Vikings will square off against the Chargers in a battle of teams looking to avoid 0–3 starts.
