The Knicks and Warriors both staved off elimination at home Wednesday night and now they must try to do so again, this time on the road. The Heat and Lakers both hold 3–2 series leads in their respective second-round series with one win standing between them and a trip to the conference finals.
Los Angeles is a narrow favorite at home against Golden State and Miami is also favored on its home floor against New York.

Kevin Durant had his first season with the Suns come to an end in humiliating fashion Thursday night, as they were blown at home by the Nuggets, 125-100, in Game 6 of their second-round series. 
Durant won over a lot of fans after the game with his classy comments about Nuggets star (and two-time NBA MVP) Nikola Jokić, saying he’ll go down as one of the best centers to ever play the game. 
Durant’s whole breakdown of Jokić and his game was pretty cool to hear, especially as the comments came just moments after such a deflating loss for the Suns star.

In preparation for a series win, the Canes got some notable TV personalities from New Jersey to record congratulatory messages for “winning” and “moving on.” Judging from most of the pronunciation there was an assumption that “Carolina” was a person, and not a teams.

NFL schedule release day has become a celebration of the creativity of franchises’ social media departments. The Chargers remain the kings, after their second consecutive year releasing a hilarious, Easter egg-filled anime video. The Titans’ video concept was much simpler, but still incredibly funny.
Tennessee’s interviewed people on tourist-heavy Broadway in Nashville, asking them to identify the teams on their 2023 schedule by logo. Evidently, there were plenty of non-football fans out and about, and the results were absolutely phenomenal.

In August 2022, a total of 11 LIV golfers joined an antitrust lawsuit between the Saudi-backed circuit and the PGA Tour. Today, less than a year later, none of those 11 players’ names are listed on the lawsuit after Bryson DeChambeau and Matt Jones became the last two LIV players to remove their names.
The lawsuit, which was filed exactly 55 days after LIV Golf’s inaugural tournament, came to be after players were suspended by the PGA Tour for joining LIV Golf.

Nikola Jokić can’t play defense. Jamal Murray can’t do it outside of The Bubble. They can’t win on the road. They were terrible down the stretch. The West wasn’t that good this year. They’ll be exposed in the playoffs.
For nearly an entire season, it’s seemed like the discourse around the Nuggets—the No. 1 seed in their conference—centered on why this team couldn’t win an NBA championship. Whether it has to do with the skepticism around Jokić’s two MVPs or faith in bigger names elsewhere, Denver hasn’t exactly been a sexy Finals pick for the last few months.
