Over 235,000 Major League Baseball games have been played in the history of the league, but somehow the sport still manages to give fans things they haven’t seen before—or have rarely ever seen, at least. That was the case with the outing for Marlins starter Edward Cabrera against the Mets on Friday afternoon. 
Cabrera was chased out of the game early, throwing 85 pitches in just 2.2 innings before exiting. He struggled to find the strike zone, throwing just 47 strikes on the day.

As the Packers and Jets continue discussing a deal for Aaron Rodgers, the future Hall of Fame quarterback made noise on social media Friday courtesy of an intriguing picture with a former teammate and one of New York’s top offseason acquisitions.
An Instagram post shared by Proactive Sports Performance, a training center in Westlake Village, Calif., showed a shot of Rodgers being chased around a practice field by new Jets receiver Allen Lazard, his teammate for five seasons in Green Bay.

It stands out as one of the most intriguing fights on the card. While he is not a household name, Walsh is the grandson of the legendary Muhammad Ali.
“It’s a great opportunity,” says the 24-year-old Walsh. “This is a chance to fight in Vegas, where I grew up. My friends and family are coming. I hope people tune in. It is going to be a fun fight.”

For the fourth time in their combat sports careers, and the second time in the UFC, Alex Pereira and Israel Adesanya will face off against each other. Pereira is now 3-0 against the former champion, with two victories coming in the Glory of Heroes kickboxing promotion. In their last bout, “Poatan” once again was victorious, defeating “Stylebender” via stoppage in the fifth round to claim the UFC middleweight title. Despite his dominance over Adesanya, the oddsmakers at SI Sportsbook have Pereira (+115) as the underdog as he attempts to defend his title for the first time.
